A FLORIDA MAN ABANDONED TWO YOUNG CHILDREN IN A DARK, DISGUSTING SWAMP WHILE FLEEING A DUI ACCIDENT.(PHOTO).

A Florida man abandoned two young children in a dark, disgusting swamp while fleeing a DUI accident.

A 2-year-old and 10-month-old were the victims of one of the most reprehensible instances of child endangerment we have covered recently.

27-year-old, Isaac Kinsey, was driving while intoxicated with two young children at 4 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9th.

Isaac entered a construction area after disregarding a road closure sign. After entering the restricted area, Isaac lost control of his vehicle, resulting in a rollover crash with the two young children inside of the vehicle. Isaac's bad decisions would not end there, and those children are lucky they survived his actions.

Officers with the Lakeland Police Department arrived at the intersection of Highway 33 and Combee Road, where they inspected the wrecked vehicle.

Officers were alarmed after noticing two car seats inside but no sign of the children.

Realizing the driver had fled into the nearby dark and dangerous swamp with small children, they rapidly deployed a thermal drone in hopes of rescuing the children before something worse happened.

It wasn't long before the drone picked up the heat signature of the fleeing man. The footage captured by the drone left officers shocked with disbelief at the callousness of Isaac.

Isaac was struggling to carry the two young children through the swamp. The footage showed him falling repeatedly with the children in his arms. Each time he fell, the children were submerged into the murky water. He also dropped the children while struggling to wade through the swamp multiple times.

Eventually, with law enforcement closing in, Isaac completely abandoned the 2-year-old in the swamp. He continued on while carrying the 10-month-old but still repeatedly fell with the baby in his arms.

Thankfully, officers operating the drone were able to guide officers on the ground, and they soon put an end to Isaac's escape. Officers were able to rescue both children and remove them from the dangerous swamp. They also caught Isaac Kinsey and placed him under arrest.

Both children were taken to Lakeland Regional Health, where they were treated for injuries they had sustained during the accident and subsequent flight through the swamp.

When questioned, Isaac admitted he was intoxicated and was driving on a suspended license.

Isaac Kinsey is facing two counts of negligent child abuse with great bodily harm. He also has one additional felony charge as well as 8 misdemeanor charges in connection with the events.
