 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

A MAN AND WOMAN WERE FATALLY STRUCK BY A TRAIN, AND NOW INVESTIGATORS ARE TRYING TO DETERMINE WHY.(PHOTO).

 "The woman was laughing and pulling the male towards her." This is a quote from the train operator pertaining to a viral incident.


  A man and woman were fatally struck by a train, and now investigators are trying to determine why.

The shocking event was captured on video that has since made its way across social media platforms. 

However, behind the posts are two families who are dealing with the profound loss of two young lives.

24-year-old Navam Kaul and 24-year-old Malaika Chitre, sadly, lost their lives in the early morning hours of September 10th.

The exact details surrounding how the two came to be on the tracks inside of Spring St. Station in Manhattan has not been confirmed by authorities yet. 

Sources have been conflicting on which person fell and which one had gone to help the other. Regardless, the results are the same both Navam and Malaika were struck by the oncoming train. 

The mystery is in their actions leading up to their tragic and untimely de@ths. Eyewitnesses stated that the pair did not behave like they saw or feared any danger. 

All accounts report they were both laughing and enjoying the evening prior to their de@ths. 

Investigators are working to determine if drugs or alcohol were a factor.

There were no obvious signs that their actions were intentional, but investigators have not ruled that out either. 

The train was carrying around 100 passengers who were all evacuated following the accident. 

Our thoughts are with everyone who was affected by this unbelievable tragedy.
