 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

A TERRIFIED OKLAHOMA MOTHER LOCKED HERSELF IN A WALMART BATHROOM WITH HER CHILDREN AFTER A 50-YEAR-OLD MAN TRIED TO ABDUCT HER BABY IN AN UNBELIEVABLY BOLD MANNER.(PHOTO).

 A terrified Oklahoma mother locked herself in a Walmart bathroom with her children after a 50-year-old man tried to abduct her baby in an unbelievably bold manner. 


The female resident of Tulsa had to make a trip to Walmart on last Tuesday afternoon, September 8th. As she browsed the aisles, picking up a few necessities, 50-year-old Marshall Dixon approached her and began chatting.


The pair talked briefly before her two children became the focus of their discussion. While still chatting about the perils of parenthood, Marshall Dixon casually removed the woman's 1-year-old child from her cart. 


Still chatting the mother up, Marshall Dixon placed the child in HIS own cart and attempted to stroll away as if his actions were perfectly normal.


The mother, who had been completely taken aback by the ordeal, quickly confronted Marshall Dixon and took her baby from his cart. She then fled to the store's restroom facilities, safely locked herself and her children inside, and dialed 911.


Store employees had become aware of the unbelievable drama unfolding and quickly kicked Marshall Dixon out of the store. He did leave the store. 


Officers with the Tulsa Police Department arrived on the scene and listened to the mother's account of the frightening event. They began searching for Marshall Dixon. 


Within just minutes, they discovered Marshall Dixon at a nearby bus stop and halted his slow-paced getaway plan. When questioned about the incident by officers, Marshall Dixon admitted, "Yeah... I did that." This was a shockingly quick and eerily calm confession to the brazen attempt to abduct a baby. 


With the confession secured, officers took Marshall Dixon into custody. He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on one count of kidnapping.


We do hope the mom is able to at least feeling comfortable going out again with her clearly beloved children- because this, well, this would be genuinely terrifying. We are SO happy that her and her baby are safe!
