 Woman accused of biting chunk out of victim’s forehead in ‘zombie bite’ attack A blood-curdling, random attack in downtown Seattle last week left a woman with injuries to her face similar to a “zombie bite,” she said. Diana Gonzalez, 36, was walking to a 7-Eleven when a crazed suspect, identified as homeless woman Kamilia Chadli, threw a food wrapper at her. When Gonzalez questioned her actions, Chadli allegedly spit on her, used a homophobic slur, and called her “the inferior race.” Chadli then allegedly began assaulting her, tossing her to the ground. Then, horrifyingly, Chadli allegedly took a bloody bite out of Gonzalez’s forehead. A nearby witness pulled the women apart and pursued Chadli after she allegedly fled the scene. Seattle police would later apprehend her, and she has been charged with felony second-degree assault. Gonzalez needed to be hospitalized and is recovering.  ANAMBRA POLICE ARRAIGNS SIX SUSPECTS BEFORE GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE COURT OVER ALLEGED DEFILEMENT, RAPE AND CHILD ABUSE


_Case involving 36-year-old woman allegedly sexually abusing her child forwarded to DPP for necessary action_


The Anambra State Police Command has arraigned six suspects before the Gender-Based Violence Court sitting in Awka, Anambra State, over separate allegations bordering on defilement, sexual assault, child abuse, assault and alleged unlawful procurement of abortion involving minors.


The suspects were arraigned on 23rd September 2026, following investigations into the respective cases.


The suspects include Chinedu Chiekwu, male, of Umuoli Village, who was arraigned over the alleged defilement of an 11-year-old child on 6th September 2026.


Also arraigned was Sunday Anele, over an allegation of engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl, which allegedly resulted in pregnancy.


Ugochukwu Okereke was arraigned over an allegation of luring a 13-year-old girl to a nearby bush and sexually assaulting her.


Similarly, Ebuka Nwachukwu was arraigned over an allegation of luring a six-year-old child into his room at Okpoko and sexually abusing her.


The fifth suspect, Ogechi Ofoma, female, of Awada, Obosi, was arraigned over an allegation of using a heated kitchen knife to inflict multiple injuries on her five-year-old daughter, Oluebube Ofoma.


The sixth suspect, Obianuju Okafor, female, was arraigned over an allegation relating to the unlawful procurement of abortion for her 15-year-old daughter.


The Command also wishes to provide an update on the widely circulated video involving a 36-year-old woman, who was allegedly seen engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct involving her child.


The Command has investigated the case and forwarded the case file to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for necessary legal action. The suspect is currently in police custody, pending further proceedings.


The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, reiterated the Command’s commitment to protecting children and other vulnerable persons from sexual abuse, exploitation, violence and other forms of harm.


He further assured that the Command would continue to ensure that victims and survivors are treated with dignity, sensitivity and appropriate protection throughout the investigative and legal process.
