 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

Recently evicted Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Ayoola Abisola, popularly known as Abi, has vehemently denied widespread online rumors suggesting her husband, Alex, played a role in her exit from the popular reality show. The allegations, which have gained traction across social media platforms, claim Alex contacted the show's producers to secure his wife's eviction.


Management Rejects "Baseless" Claims


In a swift and decisive response, Abi's management team issued an official statement on her Instagram page, categorically dismissing the claims as "baseless and completely unverified." The statement, released recently, called for an immediate cessation and takedown of all content perpetuating the false narrative.


The management emphasized their commitment to protecting Abi's reputation and that of her family, stating they would not tolerate the construction of false narratives without severe consequences.

Supporters were encouraged instead to remain focused on Abi's post-BBNaija journey and future endeavors, rather than dwelling on divisive and false information.


Abi was among the housemates recently evicted from BBNaija Season 11, leaving 14 contestants still vying for the grand prize in one of Africa's most-watched reality television programs.
