 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

 Joe Biden looks happy and healthy while celebrating granddaughter's birthday after revealing cancer radiation treatment 'worked as intended'


Joe Biden appeared in good spirits while celebrating his granddaughter Finnegan’s 26th birthday, days after sharing encouraging news about his cancer treatment. 


Photos posted by his daughter Ashley showed the former president smiling alongside family members, dressed in a crisp white shirt, suspenders, and tie. Jill Biden was also present, seated beside the birthday girl, as the family enjoyed the occasion together.


Earlier that week, Biden marked Prostate Cancer Awareness Month with a personal message on X, revealing that his radiation treatment “worked as intended.” 


Diagnosed in May 2025 with aggressive stage four prostate cancer that had spread to his bones, Biden emphasized the importance of early detection, noting survival rates are nearly 100 percent when the disease is caught early.


 He urged men not to delay medical conversations and expressed gratitude to his doctors for helping manage his condition.


Reflecting on his journey, Biden said he continues to focus on meaningful pursuits, including finishing his memoir, while encouraging others to prioritize their health. His update highlighted both the challenges of living with cancer and the hope that proactive care can bring.


 For Biden, sharing his experience is not only personal but also a way to inspire others to seek early screenings and protect the people they love.
