 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

 MS Now Host Says Trump Believes 'Voters Are Stupid,' 'You're Stupid,' 'We're All Stupid'


Chris Hayes of MSNBC’s All In sharply criticized President Donald Trump’s midterm campaign promise to send every American adult $5,000, arguing that the pledge reflects Trump’s belief that voters are “stupid.” 


Hayes said Thursday that Trump routinely makes such promises without follow‑through, noting that Republicans already control Congress and the White House, meaning they could issue checks now if they truly wanted to. 


Instead, Hayes contended, the proposal is being used as political leverage rather than a serious policy plan.


Hayes emphasized that there is “0% chance of this happening,” even if Republicans retain control of Congress, because rank‑and‑file lawmakers oppose the idea. Some GOP members expressed surprise at Trump’s announcement, with one Senate aide telling The Washington Sun that “it’s not going to happen.”


 Hayes reminded viewers that Trump has a history of dangling financial incentives, referencing past promises of dividends tied to tax cuts that never materialized.


The commentary underscores skepticism about Trump’s tactic of offering direct payments as campaign pledges. Hayes framed it as part of a broader pattern of political showmanship, suggesting that Trump relies on voters forgetting past unfulfilled promises. 


His remarks highlight ongoing debates about the credibility of campaign pledges and the use of economic incentives as political tools.
