 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Yusuf has once again called time on his romantic relationship with fellow contestant Bells. The announcement, made during a diary session with Big Brother on Tuesday, highlighted a recurring issue that Yusuf stated ultimately led to his decision to walk away.


Privacy Concerns Lead to Separation


Yusuf revealed that Bells' consistent habit of making public comments and jokes about their private relationship has become a significant source of discomfort and concern for him. He explained that despite previous warnings and her assurances to change, the issue persisted, eroding his trust.


The immediate catalyst for this latest split was a specific incident during a recent Arena game. Yusuf recounted how Bells publicly reiterated a private joke involving him and another housemate, Keivo. He clarified that he and Keivo had previously shared a lighthearted moment about Keivo interrupting his time with Bells. However, Bells' decision to bring this private exchange into the public arena left Yusuf feeling exposed and uncomfortable.


Previous Warnings Unheeded


According to Yusuf, he had previously addressed his concerns with Bells about discussing sensitive or private matters publicly. He stated that Bells had promised to be more mindful of their shared experiences and jokes, but the recent incident during the Arena game proved to be the final straw for him.


Speaking to Big Brother, Yusuf emphatically stated that he no longer wished to maintain a private or romantic involvement with Bells, indicating a definitive end to their relationship in the house.


A Pattern of Reconciliation and Disillusionment


This is not the first instance of a breakup between Yusuf and Bells within the current season of BBNaija. Yusuf recalled a similar decision earlier in the season, which was followed by a reconciliation. However, he expressed that the latest turn of events has solidified his lack of trust, leaving him convinced that the underlying issue of public disclosure will not change.
