BALA MOHAMMED'S CANDOR: A LESSON IN STATESMANSHIP FOR THE SOUR GRAPES OPPOSITION By Okoi Obono-Obla  Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State deserves unreserved commendation for his rare candour and statesmanship. In an era where opposition politics in Nigeria has been reduced to perpetual wailing, cynicism and playing to the gallery, Bala Mohammed has risen above partisanship to speak truth to power in the most patriotic sense. Despite being the National Leader of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and a key pillar of his party's presidential ticket, Governor Mohammed did what very few Nigerian politicians dare to do: he publicly appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his bold, courageous and transformative reform agenda. This is leadership. This is maturity. This is putting Nigeria first. President Tinubu has done what others feared to do. AN ALABAMA TODDLER WAS K-ILLED WHEN THE FAMILY'S PET DOG SNAPPED. (PHOTO).

An Alabama toddler was killed when the family's pet dog snapped.

An Alabama family is in the shocked and grief-stricken process of planning a funeral for a little boy who was so vibrant and full of life just days ago.

3-year-old Waylon O'Mary Corranna suffered extensive injuries when the pet dog he knew and loved viciously attacked him.

This horrific incident occurred on Friday, October 2nd, in Sulligent, Alabama. Waylon was in his home when, at around 10 a.m., the family's pit bull seemingly snapped and began attacking the young boy.

In a very short amount of time, the dog was able to inflict significant and severe damage.

Waylon was rushed to Northwest Regional Health but sadly was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving.

The dog was immediately surrendered to local law enforcement. Authorities took the dog to a local veterinarian where it was euthanized.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family.  We will share in the comments.

Our thoughts are with everyone who loved Waylon.
