  Ondo air crash pilot dies two weeks after wedding Squadron Leader Ahamefule Aham Man-Ugwueje, one of the pilots of the Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 aircraft, NAF 931, which crashed in Igbokoda, Ondo State, on Monday, got married in an elaborate ceremony in Abuja two weeks before the accident. Man-Ugwueje tied the knot with Flight Lieutenant Damilola Adekunle on September 19, 2026, according to details of the wedding invitation and posts by vendors involved in the ceremony. According to information on his Facebook profile, Man-Ugwueje’s hometown is listed as Umuahia, Abia State, while Abuja is listed as his current town/city. The aircraft, which had 25 people on board, including five crew members and 20 passengers, crashed while on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos. The Nigerian Air Force on Tuesday confirmed that all 25 people on board died in the accident and released their names.  FG CONDEMNS KILLING OF FARMERS IN BORNO


The federal government has condemned the killing of farmers in Marte Local Government Area of Borno State.


A statement by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, describes the attack on farming communities as disturbing and uncalled for 


The Minister says  the incident undermines efforts to keep farming communities productive and safe.


The statement urges security agencies to intensify operations, bring those responsible to justice, and locate the missing persons.


The Minister  stressed that protecting farmers is essential to protecting Nigeria's food supply.


Fifteen farmers were killed while working on their farms by suspected terrorists. Three others remain missing.
