Former BBNaija Housemate Nomy Addresses Disqualification Controversy and Denies Knowing Peller and GehGeh

Disqualified Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Whitney Chukwu, widely known as Nomy, has opened up about her highly controversial exit from the reality show, her personal struggles, and her indifference toward popular social media figures.

Speaking in a recent episode of the With Chude podcast with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Nomy revealed that her time inside the Big Brother Naija house was far from pleasant, describing the experience as deeply traumatizing.

The Truth Behind Her Disqualification

During the emotional interview, Nomy challenged the widely circulated narrative surrounding her exit from the show. She explained that a standard disqualification from Big Brother Naija typically requires a housemate to accumulate three strikes. However, she had only received a single strike before being sent packing.

Because of this, Nomy argued that her departure was a historic anomaly in the show's run. She suggested that the term revocation is a more accurate description of what happened to her, rather than a standard disqualification.

Unbothered by Social Media Icons Peller and GehGeh

Nomy also turned heads during the interview when she claimed to have absolutely no knowledge of popular Nigerian internet personalities, including TikTok sensation Peller and controversial online commentator GehGeh.

When host Chude Jideonwo described Peller as a national icon and GehGeh as a national lecturer, Nomy remained completely unimpressed. She made it clear that she did not enter the reality show to build friendships or keep up with social media trends, but strictly to win the ultimate prize.

When confronted with the idea that viewers might remember her as the villain of her season, Nomy remained unfazed. She emphasized that she had no intention of softening her raw personality just to fit the expectations of the public or her fellow housemates.

A Look Into Her Difficult Childhood

Beyond the reality television drama, Nomy shared some deeply personal details about her upbringing. She revealed that she lost her mother at a very young age and has never had any form of relationship with her biological father. This difficult background, she hinted, played a major role in shaping her independent and guarded personality.
