Fuji Star Adewale Ayuba Backs Tinubu's 2027 Re-election, Cites Infrastructure Growth

Fuji music legend Adewale Ayuba has officially weighed in on Nigeria's 2027 presidential election conversation, seemingly declaring his support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid. A video, which began circulating online on Sunday, October 4, captures the veteran artist making a strong case for the incumbent's return to office.

In the footage, shared by Goldmyne TV, Ayuba directly addressed his followers, contending that the visible infrastructure improvements across Nigeria provide ample justification for granting President Tinubu a second term to complete the projects he has initiated.

Ayuba Highlights Personal Experience and National Progress

The acclaimed musician cited his hometown of Ikenné in Ogun State as a personal measure of the transformation under the current administration. He noted that a journey to Ikenné, which once involved navigating the challenging Ibadan Expressway, now takes a mere 25 to 30 minutes, with five different routes accessible through areas such as Epe and Ikorodu.

Ayuba asserted that his extensive travels across various Nigerian states offer him a reliable, on-the-ground perspective of ongoing developments. He believes that the positive changes he has witnessed compel him to speak out, stating that any leader delivering real, tangible results deserves the opportunity to finish their work.

Public Reactions to the Endorsement

The video featuring Ayuba's endorsement has sparked considerable discussion among Nigerians on Instagram. While some appreciate his perspective, many users have questioned whether road improvements alone constitute sufficient grounds for a presidential second term, igniting a broader online debate.
