  Ondo air crash pilot dies two weeks after wedding Squadron Leader Ahamefule Aham Man-Ugwueje, one of the pilots of the Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 aircraft, NAF 931, which crashed in Igbokoda, Ondo State, on Monday, got married in an elaborate ceremony in Abuja two weeks before the accident. Man-Ugwueje tied the knot with Flight Lieutenant Damilola Adekunle on September 19, 2026, according to details of the wedding invitation and posts by vendors involved in the ceremony. According to information on his Facebook profile, Man-Ugwueje’s hometown is listed as Umuahia, Abia State, while Abuja is listed as his current town/city. The aircraft, which had 25 people on board, including five crew members and 20 passengers, crashed while on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos. The Nigerian Air Force on Tuesday confirmed that all 25 people on board died in the accident and released their names. Michael Bublé shared a public tribute to Michael J. Fox on October 4, 2026, after Fox was promoted to Companion of the Order of Canada at a ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. Bublé posted a photo of the two together on Instagram and called Fox "one of the architects of my life" saying that watching him as a kid made movies feel "like magic" and showed him "maybe a kid from Burnaby, Canada could dream as big as he wanted to",.He added that his admiration has only grown over the years, praising Fox's "strength," "humor" "grace" and "decency' and wrote, "He makes me feel good about what it means to be a human being. And really, isn't that the whole damn point?". Fans responded warmly, calling them "Canada's finest" and noting Fox's wide influence. The Companion honor is the highest level of the Order of Canada and recognized Fox for his global advocacy and openness about living with Parkinson's disease through the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
