  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.   Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office, have arrested Ibeh Theophilus Uche, Chief Executive Officer, CEO, 10 Kobo Wine Place, Ikotun, Lagos alongside his mother for their alleged involvement in computer-related fraud to the tune of about N50million in Lagos. The 28-year-old suspect was arrested recently in his room in Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, following credible intelligence reports about his alleged criminal activities. During interrogation, Uche, who presents himself variously as Rachael Armstrong , Keanu Reeves, Rebekah Schwarzenberger, Keanu Private, Elizabeth Hortman and Stefan Paulson, confessed to being into Bitcoin investment scam, romance scam and identity theft. The suspect also confessed to have defrauded his victims to the tune of about N50m, since he started the criminal activities in 2020. BENUE STATE GOVERNOR CALLS FOR AIR PATROL AGAINST CRIMINALS.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

  Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has called on the Nigerian Air Force to support ground troops through aerial patrols in the fight against criminals in parts of the State. The Governor made the call today when he received the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao and his delegation at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi. He also called on the Chief of Air Staff to direct the tactical troop in Agatu to carry out some patrols outside the camp to help contain the insecurity in the area. The Governor acknowledged the contributions of the Air Force to the Operation Whirl Stroke which he said has restored relative peace in the State, pointing out that determined and patriotic Nigerians should support security agencies to secure the land. He expressed the hope that hiccups from the civil air operations which had already commenced would soon be addressed for civil flight operations to resume.   Community members who raised an alarm following the unusual incidence said they suspected that activities of fishermen and bandits may have led to the sudden occurance. However, it was also suspected that an ethanol production company located in Ituku Ozalla area of the state may have dumped waste water into the river. In a bid to arrest the situation and avoid an epidemic, the state Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi dispatched a team of experts led by his special adviser on water resources, Chief Dubem Onyia on a fact finding visit to the site. The state government’s team, after their investigation yesterday said that there was indeed a contamination. They however collected water samples for further laboratory test.   A newlywed woman identified as Fatima Aliyu has been reportedly burnt to death by her husband’s first wife. The incident, Daily Trust, gathered happened in Minna, Niger State capital, on Tuesday. The first wife, Amina Aliyu, was said to have beaten up her co-wife before locking the house and setting it ablaze. Before getting married seven weeks ago, the deceased resided at Sabuwar Unguwa area in Katsina metropolis. A family source, who pleaded anonymity, said the two wives were not living in the same house. “They were not living in the same house but the first wife went to her house which is not far from hers and beat her up before locking her up in the room which she set ablaze,” he said.
