A 19-year-old Arizona man shot his parents because he was dissatisfied with his upbringing. Officers in Chandler, Arizona were called to a home around 5:30 a.m. Monday morning. The caller was the mother of 19-year-old Jeremiah Blair. She informed officers that her son Jeremiah had discharged a firearm at both her and her husband. As police arrived on scene they encountered Jeremiah sitting in the driveway waiting on officers. He then told the responding officers he had done this to his parents "because they didn't treat him right as a kid." He said he had been planning it for awhile and had played around with several plans before deciding on a fire arm. He then purchased a firearm and hid it in his closet until he could enact his plan. He had originally planned their demise for Mother's Day but then backed out until the next day. He said he went into the kitchen at around 1:30 a.m. on Monday and "set up a camera to record himself."
