 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.                                 Today monday according to sources,legendary film actor Gene Wilder died late yesterday sunday in Stamford,Connecticut from complications due to Alzheimer's diseases according to his Nephew Jordan Walker-Pearlman.Wilder's nephew said in a statement that Wilder who is popularly known as Willy Wonka,was diagnosed with the disease three years ago,but kept the condition private so as not to disappoint fans.''He simply couldn't bear the idea of one less smile in the world''.That film he acted as Willy Wonka was my favourite when i was growing up.I just believe  the Movie ''Charlie and the Chocolate factory'',adopted their story from that Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.May his soul rest in peace,Amen.

NIGERIAN TROOPS,ESTABLISH A SCHOOL IN BAMA INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS CAMP''.{PHOTOS}.

                          To further assist the internally displaced persons and enhance civil-military relations,troops of 21 Brigade,7 Division Nigeria Army,have established a temporary school for the children at the Internally Displaced Persons {IDP} camp located in Bama town,Bama Local Government Area of Borno State using military tents.The school comprised 6 military tents in which soldiers not on essential duty served as teachers.In addition,some of the IDPs who were teachers before the their displacement,also teach in school.Presently,the school has a population of over 3,000 children.The Brigade has also establish a section of adult education for women.Impressed with the laudable initiative,the United Nations Children Fund {UNICEF} also assisted the Brigade with 2 additional tents and school bags for the pupil,while Borno State Urban Education deployed a Principal to assist in running of the school.The United Natio...

                               The attention of the EFCC has been drawn to the reactions that have trailed its statement on the call by Mr Abubakar Mahmoud SAN,recently elected president of the Nigeria Bar Association {NBA} that the Commission should be stripped of its prosecutorial powers.Whilst the reactions have been overwhelmingly positive,a few people seem to have read only the headlines of newspapers and online platforms that reported the statement.For the avoidance of doubt,the Commission DID NOT say the whole of the NBA is populated by rogues and vultures.The Nigerian Bar and Bench are peopled by very many seasoned,upright members,who have made and are still making invaluable contributions to the fight against corruption.The points being made by the Commission in the statement are as follows; 1.
