 Noise pollution: Lagos seals five churches, 19 hotels The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has temporarily shut down no fewer than five churches and 19 hotels over noise pollution between March 23 and April 26  Calculations by our correspondent also showed that no fewer than four markets and shopping complexes were also shut down over noise pollution and other environmental infractions. The churches that have been temporarily sealed include St Monica’s Hall of Our Lady of Lord’s Catholic Church, Christ Rock of Fire Ministry, Wonderful Bible Prayer Ministries, God’s Porch Ministries, and an unnamed Catholic Church Some of the hotels affected are School2bar, Blue Seasons Hotel and Suites, Sulerious Lakeside Hotel, Monero Hotel and Suites, and Lekki Hotel and Suites. KENYA SECURITY,KILLS 5 SUSPECT OF SUNDAY MASSACRE.

           Kenya's Interiop ministry said today that ''security forces have shot dead five people suspected of involvement in attacks on the coast this weak that killed about 65 people''.After the attack,President Uhuru Kenyatta dismissed the group's claim and accused his political rivals of being behind the attacks,saying they wanted to stoke ethnic tensions.The opposition swiftly denied the charge.Another source claimed the five suspects were killed in a forested area during a combined operation involving the army and security forces.

               It was a low key ceremony that monarchists hope will usher a new era in their troubled royal household.Felipe VI,has taken to the throne after his father Juan Carlos tearfully signed his abdication papers at midnight last night following a 36 year reign.The new monarch,his wife Letizia and their two daughters Leonor,eight years old and Sofia,seven years old were ferried through Madrid in a low key affair after a brief military parade to their first official engagement.The crowd was banned from protesting and thousand's of football fans are today mourning Spain's premature exist from world cup.More photos below.

           According to sources,Islamic militant group Boko Haram plans to bomb Abuja with bombs planted in petrol vans.According to Mike Omeri,a senior ministry of information said late wednesday that ''The Nigerian security services have received intelligence to the effect that insurgents intend seizing petrol tankers and plant improvised explosive device in the tankers and drive them to crowded places in Abuja''.God have on Nigeria oh,what have we done to these people oh called Boko Haram.
