 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results.               According to sources today claimed that North Korea has created a wonder drug which they say it only does not cure AIDS,but also eradicates Ebola and cancer.According to them,the miracle cure consists of Ginseng,grown from fertilizzer and a mix of other ingredients but did not reveal the special combination.The dictatorship,which is known for making far fetched claims about its achievements,say that the medicine will apparently be injectable and will be known by the name of Kundang 2,but international media have doubts the claims.

KOGI AND AKWA IBOM,PICKED AS THE 2 SITE FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS IN NIGERIA.

                 It was reported today that two sites for the construction of its planned nuclear power plants,as Nigeria tries to end decades of electricity blackouts.Russia state owned Rossatom,which has been in talks with Nigeria over the nuclear plants,yesterday friday confirmed two sites had been selected in Nigeria and they said they would have a total of four reaction.This facts were made to the public by Nigeria nuclear agency.Nigeria with a population of around 170 million has installed power capacity that fluctuates between around 6,000 MW to just over 7,000 MW,according to the Transmission company of Nigeria,with 80 percent of its power plants fired by gas.A source at Rosatom said one nuclear power plant costs between $5billion to 8billion,though the Nigerian government have not yet disclosed to us,on how they are going to fund the project.
