Foremost anti-corruption agency in Nigeria, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has finalised plans to commemorate the 2018 African Anti- Corruption Day on Wednesday July 11, 2018with a road walk. According to the acting Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Ibrahim Magu the ‘walk’ which will involve cross section of stakeholders drawn from the Civil Society Organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations, Deve lopment partners, government agencies and trade union groups among others, will hold from 7am in Abuja and major cities where the Commission currently have office.The other cities are Lagos, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kaduna, Kano, Gombe, Maiduguri, Enugu, Benin and Uyo. The objective of the ‘walk’ is to sensitize the youths on the dangers of corrupt and the role which they should play in fighting the malaise.
