 Obosi Development Union Backs Dialect Quiz to Preserve Local Language ‎ ‎  ‎By Chiedu Uche Okoye ‎ ‎The President General of the Obosi Development Union (ODU), Barrister  Chimezie Obi, has expressed his support for the upcoming Obosi dialect quiz competition, aimed at preserving the Obosi dialect of the Igbo language from extinction.  ‎ ‎The event, initiated by Pharm. Obi Egbuonye's "Revive Obosi Dialect Project", is scheduled to take place at the Obosi town hall on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. ‎ ‎According to Barr. Obi, the competition will promote the Obosi dialect and contribute to the preservation of the Igbo language. "It will bring together Obosi people who are proficient in the Obosi dialect, enabling younger generations to learn and appreciate their local language," he stated. ‎ ‎Nze Isaac Ejindu, leader of the Uruowulu village team, praised the organizers, including Pharm.                  Today monday,KimKardashian was chatting with Tim Dormer on Australia's Today Show when Kim revealed that she and her husband Kanye are trying to have a second child.Kim said ''We're trying i guess it's all in God's hands.Motherhood has changed me so much just everything has been put into perspective and nothing really matters more than spending time with your family''.So very soon,we will be hearing the big annoucement from Kim and Kanye West,but i kind of have a feeling that she is already pregnant but she is just waiting for the right moment to share the news with everybody.One more picture below.

                                                    According to Mr Ibrahim Farinloye,spokesperson for NEMA {National Emergency management Agency,in a text message he sent to a media house in Lagos on Sunday afternoon,''Distress alert received on a boat mishap with 20 people on take off from Okera Nla to Bayeku,capsized at 7:30pm yesterday {saturday} night.The boat is owned by Okera Nla Boat Association.18 people were rescued alive while 2 are still missing''.

A MAN WAS FOUND SQUATTING AND ELECTROCUTED BY A TRANSFORMER.

                                                                                 According to sources,today monday morning,an un-identified transformer vandal was discovered by a 13 year old boy Adeddokun,where he was squatting and electrocuted at a pillar unit where there is a transformer.The transformer unit where he was electrocuted is located at Lonlo bus/stop along Iju road,Fagba,Lagos state.The victim who was in a pair of  jeans and T-shirt,had succeeded in removing one feeder unit,but luck ran out on him  while he was trying to remove another one when electricity supply was suddenly restored.The deceased is believed to be from the northern part of Nigeria.
