OGIRI COUNTERS NWAEKE'S WIFE'S CLAIMS ON HUSBAND'S WHEREABOUTS .(PHOTO).

 Ogiri counters Nwaeke’s wife’s claims on husband’s whereabouts  A former Commissioner for Power in Rivers State, Prof. Henry Ogiri, has disassociated himself from the claims of Florence, the wife of the immediate past Head of Service, George Nwaeke, he was the one who invited her husband to Abuja. Florence, in a viral video, alleged that her husband was flown to Abuja by Ogiri and that since then the former HoS had been unreachable. Nwaeke had since distanced himself from his wife’s claims, saying he was hale, hearty with his complete senses and was neither kidnapped nor missing. Ogiri in a statement refuted Florence claims saying he had not spoken to Nwaeke since the Supreme Court delivered its judgement on Rivers crisis.             Come September 14th two days after my birthday at Ostral hall Aluasa Ikeja Lagos,City Pride Magazine,will be given out Awards to the most outstanding entertainers,politicians,fashion designers,actors,actresses,governors etc in Nigeria.I Pink Republic have been nominated as the Most Outstanding Promising Female Musician of the year 2014.The music industry in Nigeria is very competitive and it is a great deal for me a classic musician,that sing only songs composed and written by me to be nominated among other talented female musicians.I started singing in the late 80's with my siblings,we sang jingles professionally for Nigeria in English and in French through Ray studios packaged for F.RCN because F.RC.N was the only radio station back then.After so many years,i decided to go solo and re-brand my stage name to PINK REPUBLIC.Thank you all for the nomination,and may God bless you all.                   ...

EBOLA VIRUS BREAKS OUT IN SENEGAL + GUINEA CITIZENS ATTACKS EBOLA HEALTH WORKERS.

            It was confirmed today friday that their is an out break of Ebola virus in Senegal.Senegal becomes the fifth country to be effected with Ebola virus.According to Red Cross officials in Guinea,a riot broke out in a city called Nzerekore,on thursday night over rumors that health workers had infected people with Ebola virus.A crowd of young men,some armed with clubs and knives,set up barricades across the southern city on thursday and threatened to attack the hospital before security forces moved into restore order.Gun shuts were fired and several people were injured.According to the president of the Guinean Red cross,he said that ''A rumor,which was totally false,spread that we had sprayed the market in order to transmit the virus to locals.People revolted and it resorted to violence,prompting soldiers to intervene''.Local Red cross workers had to flee to the military camp with their medical equipment.More than 400 people have died in Guinea,thoug...

10 PEOPLE DIED IN A PASSENGER BOAT THAT SANK IN RIVER STATE TODAY.

             According to the co-ordinator of NEMA {National Emergency Management Agency}Onimode Bandele,said at least 10 people died in River state today friday when a boat carrying 35 passengers bound for Port Harcourt,capsized and sank.''We can confirm that 10 persons died early today when a Port Harcourt bound passenger boat sank.Rescue efforts are ongoing and agency is already working with other bodies and security agencies in the rescue efforts''.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS DIVERTED AS VOLCANO ERUPTS IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA TODAY.

               According to sources,flights have been diverted to other routes because of a volcanic eruption in Papua New Guinea today friday.Quantas spokeswoman Sarah Algar said ''Flight paths between Sydney and Narita {Tokyo} and Sydney and Shanghai have been altered as a result of the volcanic ash cloud over Rabaul in Eastern Papua New Guinea.The QF21,QF22 and QF130 will now fly over central Papau New Guinea to avoid the cloud''.
