OSUN: ADELEKE, ASSEMBLY LOSE AS COURT AFFIRMS JUSTICE OJI AS CHIEF JUDGE. (PHOTO).

 Osun: Adeleke, Assembly lose as court affirms Justice Ojo as Chief Judge The National Industrial Court sitting in Ibadan has affirmed Justice Adepele Ojo as the Chief Judge of Osun State. The decision was contained in a judgment delivered by Justice Peters in a suit numbered NICN/IB/62/2023, on Wednesday in Ibadan. The court granted all the reliefs sought by the Osun Chief Judge against the Osun State Government and Osun State House of Assembly, including an order of perpetual injunction restraining both the executive and legislative arms of government from removing her as the number one judicial officer in the state. Matters came to a head between the Osun State Government and Justice Ojo in 2023 when the Osun Assembly passed a motion suspending her as Chief Judge of the state. An acting Chief Judge, Justice Olayinka Afolabi was appointed in her place but he refused to turn up the next day for swearing in. 4 WORLD BANK OFFICIALS,DROWNED AT EGBE DAM IN EGBE EKITI STATE ON WEDNESDAY.

                   According to the News Agency of Nigeria,four {4} World Bank officials have drowned at Egbe Dam in Rgbe Ekiti,Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti State after their boat capsized.Egbe Dam is the biggest of the six dams in Ekiti State.Folasade Akinrinmola,the chairman of the council and the state police command confirmed the incident to journalist yesterday thursday.Mr Akinrinmola said the incident which occurred on wednesday night involved a team of seven contractors employed by the World Bank on an assessment mission to the dam.She said the team commenced work tuesday night from a section of the dam and that the incident happened when they moved to the other section on wednesday.She said the traditional ruler of Egbe notified her of the incident.''We immediately mobilised a rescue team and an ambulance,and in the process,those wearing life jackets were rescued.The rescued people were the ones who told us that others were in the water.The bodies of those tha

                   According to Vanguard,the Christian Association of Nigeria {CAN},yesterdsy berated the United States {US} Secretary of States,Mr John Kerry over his visit to Nigeria,describing the visit as discriminatory,personal and divisive.The President of CAN,Rev. AMBODE DONATES N5MILLION TO FAMILY OF THE DEAD TANKER DRIVER IN LAGOS.

                             Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has approved donation of N5million Naira to the family of Late Adamu Slisu Dangwari,a petroleum tanker driver who lost his life in the unfortunate incident involving personnel of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority {LASTMA} while on duty at Rainbow Bus Stop,Mile 2 in Lagos early this year.Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation,Prince Olanrewaju Elegushi,who made the donation on behalf of the State government to the Ptroleum Drivers Association State Chairman,Mr. Tayo Abejoye,said the amount was to mitigate the effects of the painful loss of Dangwari on the family and assured that the case was still being investigated by the law enforcement agencies.Prince Elegushi commended leadership of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers Association and its parent body,NUPENG for their intervention and maturity during discussions that led to a resolution of issues that arose from Dangwari's death.He urged the union to

                    The EFCC,on tuesday,August 23,2016,arrested one Iwuchukwu Martin Uche for obtaining money under false pretence to the tune of USD145,00.Uche,who claimed to be a military officer working for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization,NATO in Kabul,Afghanistan allegedly,collected the money from his victim,H. Uyen,a Vietnamese woman,after promising to marry her.The suspect,who also claimed to be a property agent operating in Nigeria and Ghana,allegedly told the victim that he needed the money to procure some documents for the planned wedding.The money was allegedly wired to the suspect's Diamond Bank account number: 0028998256.

                           May the good Lord deliver us from the vicissitudes of life.A one happy couple,Susan Mortimer and Robert Hackley,who have been together for 11 years,were planning for their wedding when a double dose of bad luck struck.They both lost a leg withing days of each other.It began when Robert,57,accidentally stepped on a piece of glass which turned his right leg septic.He went to the hospital for treatment in January but doctors told him he needed to have an amputation as he had suffered with infections for several years.Robert told Mirror that ''We are trying not thinking about how bad it all is.Losing a leg was really bad but expected for me,but Sue was sitting there thinking her condition was getting better''.If it is Africa,they will start suspecting their village people and even all his ex-girlfriends.More photos below.

                                 According to one of my reporters for my blog,Chinenye Genevieve,who just sent in this story attached with this picture above,and she said ''There was traffic along Ore-Ijebu Ode road,South West Nigeria,when a truck driver parked his truck almost at the middle of the highway  to pray.After he got down,he spread his mat in front of the truck and prayed,never minding the spectacle and traffic he was creating.Some who found it amusing came down from their vehicles and began to take photos.I am Chinenye Genevieve,reporting Live for www.pinkrepublic12.blogspot.com''.Wow.
