 TCIPC Customs, NNS Beecroft Reaffirm Commitment to National Security, Trade Facilitation The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Tincan Island Port Command (TCIPC), and the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS), Beecroft, have renewed their commitment to securing Nigeriaā€™s maritime borders and facilitating smooth trade operations.  This was highlighted during a visit on Thursday, 27 March 2025, by the newly appointed Commander of NNS Beecroft, Commodore Paul Nimmyel, to the Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Frank Onyeka at the TCIPC headquarters. COURT JAILS FRAUDSTER 3 YEARS,OVER $45,000 FOREX SCAM.{PHOTO}.

                             Justice Kudirat Jose of the Lagos State High Court,sitting in Ikeja has convicted and sentenced one Chief Ike Chukwu Meregini to three years imprisonment.The convict was arraigned on  1 2 May,205 on two-count charge bordering on obtaining money under false pretence brought against him by the EFCC.Meregini ran into trouble when a petitioner,M.S Securities Bureau De Change Limited,allegedly entered into a foreign exchange transaction with him,involving the sum of $45,000 {Forty-Five Thousand United States Dollars}.The money was paid into his domiciliary account,with an understanding that Meregini would pay the Naira equivalent to the petitioner within five {5} days of the transaction,Meregini allegedly issued a post-dated cheque to the petitioner and when it was presented,it was returned unpaid.The petitioner said that all efforts to make Meregini refund the money yielded no result...

                 Lagos Magistrate Court today,November  1 0, 20 1 6 ,granted the EFCC a remand order to keep Godwin Obia,SAN,and Justice Rita Ofili Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court in custody for  1 4 days.Justice Ofili Ajumogobia is being investigated by the EFCC for allegedly receiving a N5 million bribe from Obla,SAN.Ofili Ajumogobia who has been under the watch of the EFCC over alleged ostentatious living was earlier in the year barred by the National Judicial Council {NJC} from getting any promotion for the remainder of her career.More  photos below.

                        According to one of my reporter Chinenye Genevieve,who just sent in this story and the picture with the caption ''a 25 year old woman,Ogochukwu Nwosu,is in a critical condition at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital,Idi-Araba,Surulere,Lagos State,after she was bathed with substance suspected to be acid.Ogochukwu was at Ilasa bus stop,on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway,when a man allegedly dropped from a motorcycle and poured acid on her.He was said to have jumped back on the motorcycle and fled the scene.Thee victim,who sustained burns on her face,neck,breast,among other parts of her body,was reportedly rushed to LUTH by passersby.Ogochukwu,who spoke with Punch correspondent from her hospital bed,accused one Mrs Chidi,the wife of the man who had proposed marriage to her,as the culprit.She alleged that Mrs Chidi had been threatening her on the telephone and through text messages immediately she learnt of h...
