The annual reception celebrates the presence in London of one of the largest Diplomatic Corps in the world, giving Their Majesties and Their Royal Highnesses the opportunity to meet representatives of countries accredited to the Court of St. James’s. FAKE SOLDIER ARRESTED IN IPAJA LAGOS.(PHOTOS).#ANNOUNCEMENT

Officers of Ipaja Division have arrested 65-year old Jeremiah Joseph who presented himself as an Army Lieutenant to one Ignatius. The fake Lieutenant promised to arrange soldiers to help Ignatius recover N4.5m owed him by some people in Delta State. He received N120,000 for this service and thereafter absconded. Found in his apartment were a fake Army identity card and uniform. One more photo below.

KDSG Security Update: Tuesday 6th December 2022.  Troops neutralize bandits in Giwa LGA. - Clearance operations ongoing.  Troops of the Nigerian Army have neutralized several bandits during clearance operations in bandit enclaves around Idasu, Fatika and Makera forests in Giwa LGA.  This was disclosed in an operational feedback to the Kaduna State Government. OWNER OF RECOVERED SUV ABANDONED UNDER OTEDOLA BRIDGE HAS SHOWN UP TO RECOVER HIS CAR- POLICE. (PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

The owner of the recovered SUV, 4Matic GL 450 with the registration number KUJ 384 LY under Otedola Bridge yesterday showed up two hours ago. He said he was attacked by traffic robbers after a stop to check his shaking rear tyre.  He abandoned the vehicle there to escape. All confirmations done and vehicle along with valuables have been handed over to him while CSP Yinka Egbeyemi  has directed RRS Decoy Team to arrest those involved in the attack. EARLIER REPORT  Officials of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on patrol at about 10:00 p.m. yesterday recovered an SUV, 4matic GL 450 with the registration number KUJ 384 LY under Otedola bridge. The car's engine was running and driver's side door opened with no occupant. In the car were travelling bags and laptop. Controversy, protest trail teachers recruitment in Anambra Some candidates who participated in the teachers’ recruitment exercise in Anambra State have protested their exclusion from the list of those finally selected. Two of the candidates who spoke to our correspondent in Awka, on Monday, on behalf of the aggrieved candidates, accused the state ministry of education and the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board of failing to follow due process in the recruitment process and final selection. The state governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, had on Friday, presented appointment letters to 5,000 teachers recently recruited in the state. The presentation took place at the International Conference Centre, Awka. Soludo said the exercise was a fulfilment of his campaign promises. Strict adherence to cashless policy it is!!! CBN Reviews Over-the-Counter Withdrawal Limits  1. N100,000 and N500,000 weekly limit for personal and corporate accounts  2. Amounts over that limit attract a 5% and 10% processing charge respectively 3. Maximum withdrawal limit from ATM is N20,000 daily and N100,000 weekly 4. Only N200 notes & lower denominations will be loaded into the ATM 5. Maximum withdrawal via POS is N20,000 daily 6. In exceptional cases and not more than once a month, the amounts of N5m and N10m for personal and corporate accounts can be accessed. This will require approvals and payments of all effective charges (5% and 10% respectively). Effective January 9, 2023
