 Obosi Development Union Backs Dialect Quiz to Preserve Local Language ‎ ‎  ‎By Chiedu Uche Okoye ‎ ‎The President General of the Obosi Development Union (ODU), Barrister  Chimezie Obi, has expressed his support for the upcoming Obosi dialect quiz competition, aimed at preserving the Obosi dialect of the Igbo language from extinction.  ‎ ‎The event, initiated by Pharm. Obi Egbuonye's "Revive Obosi Dialect Project", is scheduled to take place at the Obosi town hall on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. ‎ ‎According to Barr. Obi, the competition will promote the Obosi dialect and contribute to the preservation of the Igbo language. "It will bring together Obosi people who are proficient in the Obosi dialect, enabling younger generations to learn and appreciate their local language," he stated. ‎ ‎Nze Isaac Ejindu, leader of the Uruowulu village team, praised the organizers, including Pharm.           According to the United Nation spokesperson,a U.N peace keeper was killed and five others injured in a suicide attack on a patrol ase in Northern Mali.''A vehicle on saturday morning exploded next to the base in the village of Ber,about 60 kilometers east of the desert city of Timbuktu''.There might be further reports on these story.

UNKNOWN CORPSES DEPOSITED AT THE TORONTO MORTUARY ANAMBRA STATE-POLICE.

                 According to the Nigerian police in Anambra state,there was a fatal motor accident that happened yesterday friday at about 5.00pm at Iweka along Enugu/Osha expressway,Anambra state.A truck with registration number XB 477 LKJ collided with one L300 bus with registration number ATN 32 YV killing the bus driver,two pedestrians and one motocycles on the spot.Eight others sustained injuries,while the truck driver fled the scene.All injured victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment,while the corpses of unknown deceased persons  were deposited at the Toronto Hospital mortuary.

           Yesterday friday,Jennifer Hudson and her sister Julia created the Julian D.King Gift Foundation in 2008,which gives thousands of children each year school supplies on August 14,the anniversary of her late nephew's birthday.The annual gift sharing took place in Chicago with her sibling,where they donated thousands of knapsacks filled with supplies to needy children.Jennifer's nephew was murdered in a gun attack,and Jennifer said ''Our goal each year is very simple,we want these kids to know we are here for them and paying attension to their needs.If one child walks away with that feeling,then we've been successful.Chicago needs positive support more than ever and we hope that by doing this,we can encourage the next generation to keep on in that direction''.October 2008,Jennifer lost her mother Darnell Donerson,her brother Jason Hudson and nephew Julian King were all killed in a gun attack.They thought her 7 year nephew Julian was missing from home...
