                       Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode today friday said plans are afoot to link inner roads in the State to the Lagos Smart City Project,just as he expressed readiness to commence deployment of Close Circuit Television {CCTV} Cameras in October across the State.Goovernor Ambode,who disclosed this in Coker Aguda area of the State at the commissioning of some of the 144 roads,newly constructed in the 20 Local Government Areas {LGs} and 37 Local Council Development Areas {LCDAs},said Government will complement the project with strategic security management driven by tecnology.The Governor,who was represented by the Commissioner for Science and Technology,Mr Olufemi Odubuyi at the commissioning of 500 meters Bolaji Banwo Street in Coker Aguda LDA,said security remained one of the cardinal objectives of his adminstration,an that technology will play a key role in securing residents.Also in Coker Aguda LCDA,...

                 Former Governor of Adamawa state,Mr James Balla Ngilari was yesterday granted bail by Justice Nathan Musa of the Adamawa State High Court,Yola in the sum of one million naira and a surety with landed property in Yola who must provide a court affidavit of means to that effect.Ngilari was remanded in the EFCC custody September 21 following his arraignment on nineteen count charge bordering an alleged rigging of procurement process in the award of contract worth one hundred and sixty-seven naira.The court has adjourned to October 10 for commencement of trial.Ngilari is being tried alongside his former secretary to the government and commissioner for finance and budget,Messrs Ibrahim Andrew Welye and Sanda Jonathan Lamurde respectively.One more photo below.

                            Troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE Task Force Battle Group and Multinational Joint Task Force presently harbouring in Abadan village dealt decisively with elements of Boko Haram that attempted to attack on their location.The attack which was launched by the terrorist group at about 6:30 am yesterday thursday 22nd September 2016 and it lasted for about 2 hours.During the fierce battle,the troops killed 15 of the insurgents,with many escaping with gunshot wounds.Sadly however 2 soldiers paid the supreme price in action while 4 others were wounded in action.The bodies of our late colleagues and the wounded have since been evacuated.The gallant troops recovered weapons and ammunitions from the insurgents These includes,1 Gun truck,1 60mm Mortar tube,7 60mm Morter bomb,a General Purpose Machine {GPMG},3 damaged AK 47 Rifle,4 Bandoliers of Anti-Aircraft roundss of ammunition.The troops have continue...
