 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                    29 year old model Chrissy Teigen who appeared on a new ABC show FABLIFE opened up about their fertility problems.She revealed that she and her husband John Legend has seen countless fertility doctors and they are struggling to start a family.She said ''I say honestly John and i were havingtrouble.We would have had kids five,six years ago if it happened.But my gosh it's been a process.We've seen fertility doctors and once you open up about those things to other people you learn that alot of other people in your life are seeing these people and they have this shame about it''.She said it was painful when people questioned her about when she and John are going to start a family.''It's kind of crazy because i can't imagine being that nosy to be like,so when are the kids coming? because who knows what somebody's going through.So anytime somebody asks if i'm going to have kid's i'm just like one day you're going

A POLICE CORPORAL,WHO SHOT A WOMAN TO DEATH IN ISHERI OSHUN LAGOS,WILL BE CHARGED TOMORROW TO COURT.

                  Today thursday,it was reported that a police Corporal who allegedly shot a woman to death yesterday wednesday at Isheri Oshun,will be arraigned tomorrow friday.The Commissioner of Police Lagos,Mr Fatai Owoseni,made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on the activities of the command today thursday in Ikeja.Owoseni said that the Corporal attached to Isheri Oshun Police Division in Lagos had been arrested and was already undergoing disciplinary action.Owoseni said the incident happened on yesterday wednesday while her husband and four children were going home with their tricycle {Keke}.He said the corporal allegedly opened fire on the tricycle killing the woman on the spot,while the husband,children and the rider sustained bullet wounds.''As i speak with you,the corporal has been arrested and undergoing necessary disciplinary action according to the rule in the force.He will be charged to court on friday for murder.This will serve as deterrent to others.The Di

100 DEAD,50 INJURED AS A FUEL TANKER EXPLODED IN SOUTH SUDAN YESTERDAY.

                      Yesterday wednesday more than 100 people were killed in South Sudan after an oil truck exploded as a crowed tried to gather fuel from the vehicle after it had veered off the road .According to Charles Kisagna,the minister of information in Western Equatoria,said 50 people were seriously injured.''We don't have medical equipment and these people may not survive because we do not have the facilities to treat the highly burnt people.The truck had been traveling from the capital Juba to the Western Equatoria area.Such incidents have happened before in the east African region where fuel tankers often have to travel long distances along potholed roads and pass through poor communities''.

         Ejire Lale the son of the V.C of the University of Port-Harcourt {Ndowa Lale} ,who was kidnapped on monday in Agbeta Ebuu,Eleme Local Government Area of the state,where he went to supervise work on his fish pond.A group of six armed men stormed the place around 7:30pm after robbing a neighbour within the compound and took him away on foot.The information i just got is that he has been released by his abductors.We thank God for that.

3 MEN WERE ARRESTED BY THE EFCC YESTERDAY,FOR FRAUD & BLACKMAIL.

               Yesterday wednesday,officers from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC,arrested 3 men identified as Yskubu Dankaba {akabYakubu Hamisu},Yahaya Baba and Usman Abdukhakeen {aka Chairman} at Area3 of Garki District,Abuja for their involvement in a N20 million blacking scheme.The suspects allegedly posed as operatives of the EFCC with the aim of extorting N20 million from the FCT Water Board director.They had written a letter,purported to be from the EFCC,and notified him of  being under investigation.They however,offered to help him quash the investigation,if he could part with the sum of N20 million.Suspecting that he was about to be swindled,the director alerted the EFCC,which swung into action,caught the three suspects in their own web of tricks.They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed.
