 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

          A reporter/model was accused of pulling 33 year old Kim Kardashian's hair and almost knocked her to the ground,in frount of Kanye West and her mother Kris Jenner.The Journalist who is referred to as a gate crasher is identified as Vitalii Sediak .Another source claimed ''The information about Vitalii pulling Kim's hair is untrue.Vitalii only hugged Kim and that caused a big crowding with the security that pulled him down to the ground.Because of the mess,Kim may have lost her balance,but Vitalii didn't mean any harm''.More photos below.

             Today thursday,Victoria Beckham,the wife of David Beckham and former Spice Girls band member was named U.N Goodwill Ambassador for an AIDS charity.Victoria Beckham in her speech,during the press conference at the United Nations building in New York said ''I am a mother and i am a woman.I will do what ever i can do to raise awareness.I feel very passionate about this.I recently visited South Africa and i was so touched by the women i met and i felt inspired.I came home and i knew i had to do something.It's taken me to get to 40 to realise i have a responsibility as a woman and as a mother.For some reason people will listen to me.This is the beginning of an incredible journey for me i have people mentoring me.I am going back to South Africa in a few weeks and then further afield next year''.More photos below.

A SECURITY MAN ARRESTED & CHARGED TO COURT FOR NOT CATCHING ARMED ROBBERS.

                  28 year old Mohammed Nura was employed as a security man recently at 5,Egbe road in Ejigbo area of Lagos.Days after he was employed,armed men invaded the area at night and over powered him.The robbers broke into a boutique and stole items worth N500,000.The owner of the shop,Steve Olumese went to the police and reported that his shop was burgled by the unidentified armed men.He also told the police that the residents just employed the security man Nura.The police then arrested the security man and charged him to court with negligence to perform his duty by not preventing armed robbery attack in the area.The security man told the police that he was unable to stop the men who over powered him.He also explained that he had no weapon to confront them.He was taking to Kirikiri prison pending when he meets up with his bail of N50,000 set by the presiding Magistrate in Ejigbo.The matter was adjourned to October 15,2014.In these case,who is to provide the security guard with

CHINA TO SEND 700 TROOPS TO SOUTH SUDAN TO ASSIST UNITED NATION MISSION.

                    According to China's Defence ministry spokesman Geng Yansheng said today thursday that China will send 700 troops to join U.N peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.The troops will assist the U.N with protecting citizens and humanitarian workers and in other security related activities in the newly independent country.The location of the troops and the timing of the deployment were still being negotiated.U.N officials have previously said it would be the first time China had contributed a battalion to a U.N peacekeeping mission.Last year China sent a smaller protection unit to join a U.N mission in Mali.More photos below.
