Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike says his administration is poised to build, furnish and deliver the best campus of the Nigerian Law School in Port Harcourt. The governor gave the assurance at the ceremony marking the official flag-off of civil engineering works for the establishment of the law campus at  Rumueme Town of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, on Saturday. Governor Wike noted how Rivers people have hailed his idea and eventful decision to request for a campus of the Nigerian Law School to be located in Port Harcourt. According to Governor Wike, if the Rivers Government had not initiated to flag-off and construction two hostels and an auditorium at the Yenagoa Campus of the Nigerian Law School in Bayelsa State, it would have missed the opportunity to request for a Port Harcourt Campus. A man who identified himself as a former pastor of the Living Faith Church International, popularly known as Winners Chapel, Peter Godwin, says he was sacked by the church for not generating enough money in his branch. He claimed he was invited with about forty of his colleagues by the state pastor on July 1, 2021, and were all sacked over low income in their branches. Godwin, however, failed to mention the name of the state. GOVERNOR BALA INSPECTS GOVERNMENT HOUSE EXPANSION  His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has inspected the ongoing renovation and expansion of the Bauchi State Government House this evening.  During the exercise, the Governor went round to supervise the quality of the project and called on the contractors handling it to ensure effective and qualitative projects.  It could be recalled that Governor Bala Mohammed has awarded the renovation and expansion of the Government House which will have some new and modern edifices out of which includes modern hospital, lodges and advanced offices. LASEMA Recovers Multiple Accident vehicles The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA today 17th July, 2021 recovered five vehicles involved in a multiple accident at Maryland, Idiroko. The incident occurred when an oil tanker with unknown registration number loaded with 45,000 litres of PMS crashed into two containerised trucks that eventually crushed two other  vehicles (cars) on rebound when it's breaking systems developed mechanical failure on motion. The story of a kidnapped toddler in Akwa Ibom State who was taken away from his parents by a pair of kidnappers, Mfom and Esther, went viral a few days ago. Upon learning of the incident through the Ministry of Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, we immediately began swift investigations to ensure his safe return home. We are happy to report, not only has he been rescued and found unharmed but now, he is being cared for by the Ministry of Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups.
