One of my sources,Ikay Ogbonna, from Awka Anambra state, have confirmed that the problems associated with the pouring of sand by the deceased widow or widower in the grave of his or her beloved one's as a sign of goodbye in Awka kingdom has finally been laid to rest by the pronouncement of Justice Hope Uzodimma of Awka High court stipulating that the Catholic burials will no longer be disrupted by any authority in Awka,in the name of preserving traditions/customs of the land.My question is these, the people that made the law that widow/widowers will not pour sand in the grave of their love ones,is there a spiritual inplication if they go ahead with what the court rules, just to prove a point?
