ANAMBRA GOVT RESCUES 13 CHILDREN FROM TRAFFICKERS, ARREST SUSPECTS. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.                 Today sunday  EFE  was declared the winner of the second season of the Big Brother Nigeria tagged See-gobe.Out of the last 5 contestant,Marvis was the first to be evicted today,followed by Debie Rise,the third person to leave the house after the host Ebuka changed from suit to native was    T-Boss,remaining Bisola and Efe the tension was high.Then the winner is EFE .Tuface,Tiwa Savage and others performed and even TV host Denrele Edun and Annie Dibia was also present for the finale show.Tiwa Savage sang her new single for the first time live today on the show.I really enjoyed the show and I am looking forward to season 3,Congratulations to all the contestants.More photos below.

ISHAWO KILLINGS: LAGOS COMMISERATES TODAY WITH POLICE,FAMILIES+ VOWS TO GO AFTER MILITANTS.

          The Lagos State Government today sunday commiserated with the famiilies of four Police Officers and one Army Captain that lost their lives in Ishawo area of Ikorodu after an ambush unleashed on them by militants.The gallant officers were killed after successfully rescuing kidnapped victims kept in the riverine area by the militants.In a reaction issued on sunday by the State's Commissioner for Information and Strategy,Mr Steve Ayorinde,the government described the incident as unfortunate but insisted that it would only strengthen its resolve to root crime and criminalities out of the State.The statement said Governor Akinwunmi Ambode was deeply touched and condoled with the families and loved ones of the departed officers.''The Governor,however,assures the Police and general public of his support and commitment to rid the State of every form of militancy,kidnappings,and illegal waterfront shanties that harbour criminals,'' Ayoorinde said.                Tragedy struck on friday morning the 7th of April 2017 in Mgbakwwu when a middle-aged woman was hacked to death by a man who is believed to be a mentally deranged person.The horrific incident occurred in the Umudiani area of Mgbakwu,in Awka North LGA of Anambra State has thrown residents and indigenes of the community into mourning and anguish.According to eyewitnesses,the deceased met her untimely death in the early hours of the morning while she was hawking pap {corn starch popularly known as akamu} when her killer accosted her.The killer known in the area by the name Ezeamunsu Mmadubueze hacked the deceased down by dealing several blows on her with a machete killing her instantly.This angered some residents in the area who descended on the assailant and meted jungle-justice on him by tying him up,slashed his back with the same machete and setting him ablaze.The murdered woman whose aged husband is bling was said to be the bread-w...
