Image
President Muhammadu Buhari has explained why he declared his intentions to run for another term in office on Monday, April 9, 2018, during the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Receiving the Archbishop of Canterbury, His Grace Justin Welby in London Wednesday, President Buhari said: "I declared before leaving home because Nigerians were talking too much about whether I would run or not. So, I felt I should break the ice. We have many things to focus on, like security, agriculture, economy, anti-corruption, and many others. We needed to concentrate on them, and politics should not be a distraction. The majority of Nigerians appreciate what we are doing, and that is why I am re-contesting." The President recounted some successes of the administration to his guest, with whom he has built a deep friendship in recent times, and was quite particular about strides in agriculture. "We have cut the importatio

Almost every week I write about my Sunday fashion and people will think fashion is very easy.Sometimes you might have more than one thousand outfits, but styling that one thousand outfit is a special talent of its own.If fashion is not a special talent of it's own,why are people hiring stylist?,it because they have tried several times to style themselves and 85% of their outfits always turn out bad. Some people are naturally gifted with fashion,so they see it as fun styling themselves and other people and creating new trends for other people to follow.I love fashion,I enjoy styling myself, giving out fashion tips and creating my own designs.Just because am having fun with fashion made it a little bit easy.On sunday mothers day for Catholics I decided to standout and I wore a black jumpsuit to church with a red coat I just bought because I want to look different and comfortable.I have other red coats, but I specifically chose this one because the weather might change from cold to

PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI RE-ELECTION DECLARATION,A WAKE UP CALL TO ALL NIGERIAN YOUTHS-BAR DOTUN HASSAN.#PRESS RELEASE.{PHOTOS].

Image
It is no surprise to winess the much awaited Muhammadu Buhari's 2nd Term Declaration today 9th April,2018,which is no breaking news to many, but a clarion call indication to the Nigerian youths to rally themselves as first force to beat. This drive inevitably remains a necessity to challenge the status quo and ensure a positive paradigm shift away from the past political unethical processes. It is most convincing that we {youths} can upturn the tide come 2019,beyond the measure of politics and negative antics of the present ruling class, who sees no value in our generation, but to many this is the only available opportunity to correct the long decayed wounds of corruption and ill governance ravaging the system from precolonial era till date, hence our quest for #FREEDOM. We must see this coming election as a direct means to commit ourselves in oneness determination and aggressive spirit of unity to achieve the best by ensuring that we screen and collectively merge our intere

PRIVATISATION OF GOVT COMPANIES A WIN-WIN MOVE FOR BENUE-TERVER AKASE.{PHOTO}.

Image
The present administration in Benue State made it clear on assumption of office that government lacks the financial resources to run its industries so it would get investors for lease, concessioning and related acceptable industrial practices. This has been done with the Fertilzer Blending Plant. The decision to privatize the said government entities became necessary when investors were not showing genuine interest in the companies. A few who came, received maximum cooperation from the Benue State Government which was willing to provide its own part of the partnership and had indeed begun to do so in Taraku Mills Ltd, Wannune Tomato/Mango Factory, Katsina-Ala Yam Flour Factory Ltd among others where revamping efforts commenced.  The State Government had waited till the time given to the investors who indicated interest elapsed. None returned. Sometimes, the fear we show towards new policies soon gives way to belief and conviction. Privatisation is not a bad government policy. T

Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle are incredibly grateful for the goodwill shown to them since the announcement of their engagement and are keen that as many people as possible benefit from this generosity of spirit. The couple have therefore asked that anyone who might wish to mark the occasion considers making a donation to charity, rather than sending a wedding gift. Prince Harry and Ms. Markle have personally selected seven organisations they would like to support, reflecting their shared values. Prince Harry and Ms. Markle do not have any formal relationships with the charities chosen. The couple have chosen charities which represent a range of issues that they are passionate about, including sport for social change, women's empowerment, conservation, the environment, homelessness, HIV and the Armed Forces. Many of these are small charities, and the couple are pleased to be able to amplify and shine a light on their work. CHIVA (Children's HIV Association) Th
