LINDA IKEJI FILED A PETITION OF THREAT TO LIFE,AGAINST WIZKID.

                                             Celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji had filed a threat to life compliant against Wizkid,after Wizkid publicly threatened to send his teenage cousin to beat her up.Confirming that Linda lodged a complain,the police command's spokesperson,Dplapo Badmos,a Superintendent {SP} said the Commissioner,Fatai Owoseni has brokered peace between them.''Yes the command received a petition of threat to life from Linda Ikeji against Ayo Balogun.The CP has waded into the issue between Wizkid and Linda Ikeji.Alternative dispute resolution was used and the parties left in peace''.The internet war between them broke-out after Linda Ikeji published a report that Wizkid was facing eviction problems from his supposed Lekki home.Angered by the report,the singer wrote a stinker about Linda Ikeji,where he threatened to send his 166 year old cousin to ''beat the shit out of her''.Well i thank God they have both settled their differences.

SOUTH SUDANESE GUNMEN,KIDNAPPED 108 CHILDREN & KILLED 208 PEOPLE IN ETHIOPIA ON FRIDAY.

                   According to sources,the death toll from a raid carried out by South Sudanese gunmen in western Ethiopia has risen to 208 people and the assailants kidnapped 108 children.The attack took place on friday in the Horn of Africa nation's Gambela region which alongside a neighboring province,hosts more than 284,000 South Sudanese refugees who fled conflict in their country.By sunday afternoon,the number had risen to 208 dead and 75 people wounded from 140 a day earlier,government spokesman Getachew Reda told pressmen,adding that the assailants had also abducted 108 children and taken 2,000 head of livestock.Getachew did not give further details,but officials in Gambela said on Saturday,that Ethiopian troops had crossed the border in pursuit of the attackers.Cross-border cattle raids have occurred in the same area in the past,often involving Murle tribesmen from South Sudan's Jonglei and Upper Nile regions areas awash with weapons that share borders with Ethiopia.O

LAGOSIANS DON'T PANIC,AS THE NIGERIAN AIR FORCE COMMENCES NIGHT FLIGHT TRAINING EXERCISE TODAY.

               The Lagos State Governmnt has advised Lagosians not to panic as the Nigerian Air Force commences night flying training exercise in the state tonight.The exercise according to the State's Commissioner for Information and Strategy,Mr Steve Ayorinde,is to commence today 18th to 23rd April,as from 7.00pm-11.00pm daily.The exercise will involve the usage of the C-130 Hercules Aircraft by the Nigerian Air Force and the 201 Heavy Airlift Group.The Commissioner further explained that the C-130 Hercules Air Crafy will fly very low in some locations across the State,but assured that residents should not panic as all precautionary and safety measures have been put in place.He assured that residents should go about their normal duties,as the exercise is to be conducted with a very insignificant discomfort.Ayorinde said ''The only unusualness of the exercise is the low flying nature of the air craft and the increase in noise level which will be noticed during the six days

LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT,IS SET TO SEAL PROPERTIES OF DEFAULTERS OF LAND USE CHARGE.

              The Lagos State Government today monday said it would not hesitate to seal the properties of residents who default in paying their Land Use Charge {LUC}.just as it warned that it may explore the option of prosecuting defaulters according to the law.Addressing journalists at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa Srcretariat,Commissioner for Finance,Dr Mustaph Akinkunmi,disclosed that the State Government has put in place a variety of payment options which included paying at the bank or the nearest Land Use Charge offices to residents using cash or POS Aor payment online through credit or debit cards.Akinkunmi,who apologised for the delay in the distribution of the bills this year,attributed it to the need to clean up the data sets which were previously in operation,adding that a more robust clearer data sets were now in place.He however said despite the delay in the delivery of the bills,tax payers are still entitled to the usual 15 percent discounted rate if payment i
