               I just saw these story on facebook and it had a very sad caption.It was captioned ''Lets us pray together for this young boy who was found lying face down on a beach near Turkish resort of Bodrum was one of at least 12 Syrians who drowned attempting to reach Greece''.This is so sad and those illegal immigrants can risk their lives,but not the life of an innocent child that is yet to fulfill his destiny.One more photo below.

                                                            I was just informed that Anambra state Government has begun a clampdown on some members of the state vigilante services,AVS who are considered to be illegal in the state and outside the recognized ones which are 4,000 in number.Chairman of Anambra state Vigilante Supervisory Committee and former Commissioner of Police in Delta State Mr Ikechukwu Ayodele Aduba {retd} who disclosed this earlier these week to newsmen that the essence of clamping down on the illegal vigilante operatives was to help control the spate of crime rate amongst local vigilance operative in the state.He also noted that the clampdown exercise became imperative in view of the urgent need to arrest the discordant and disparaging activities of the various vigilante groups in the state,adding that AVS as a selfless and service oriented outfit ought to work under the strict supervision of the police but most of them exceeded their bounds,thus leading to abuses.

                                According to the United Nation top human rights official,he said that a French soldier deployed to Central Africa Republic has been accused of sexually abusing a teenage girl in the latest in a series of misconduct allegations against peacekeeping forces there.U.N High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein said U.N staff were informed on August 30 of allegations that a French Soldier sexually abused a girl in her mid to late teens last year.She gave birth to a child in April and lodged a paternity case with local authorities.In a statement today during a visit to Central African Republic he said ''We simply have to find ways to prevent such odious acts being committed by any soldiers anywhere who are supposed to be protecting vulnerable populations''.He further said that French authorities had been informed of the latest allegation and the U.N mission,which took over peacekeeping duties from Frencj troops,had offered to

                     Today thursday,a tricycle operator 25 year old Daniel Joseph,in Jos was sentenced to one month in prison for stealing a transformer after he pleaded guilty to the crime and he begged for leniency.The Magistrate Mr Tijanni Zololo also gave him an option to a fine of N500,000.Earlier the Police Prosecutor,Sgt Samuel Churkwap told the court that Victor Dung,a member of the Operation Rainbow,arrested Joseph and took him to A Division Police Station on August 27 2015.He said the convict and two others at large conspired and dismantled a 50 MVA transformer belonging to Jos Electricity Distribution Company {JEDC}.He said that Joseph was arrested by the police while conveying the parts of the transformer to an unknown destination.During the investigation,the convict confessed to have committed the offence.

                  Today thursday,about 10 people were killed and 100 wounded when a bomb went off near an army camp in northern Cameroon,where soldiers are battling Boko Haram fighters from Nigeria.The second blast was at a town ''Kerawa'', which is far north region that a clash happened in February between Boko Haram militants and government soldiers.A senior army officer based in northern Cameroon said ''For the moment there are around 10 dead and about 100 wounded in the attack near the camp.We're still awaiting a report from our teams on the bombing at the market''.The first bomb exploded in the morning in the market in Kerawa and the other soon after near a camp housing infantry soldiers stationed in the north to fight the Nigerian Islamist group.A local government official said he had been told that the attacks were carried out by female bombers.
