EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

NASARAWA STATE GOVERNOR'S HEAD DRIVER MAIRUWA,WAS ASSASSINATED TODAY BY GUNMEN.

                          According to ASP Ismaila Numan,the Police Public Relations Officer in Nasarawa state confirmed today that gun men assassinated Mr Abdullahi Mairuwa,the head driver of Governor Umaru Al- Makura of Nasarawa state these morning.He said the victim was traveling with his wife from Lafia to Keana Local Government Area today saturday morning when they were attacked by some gunmen at Tudun Adabu village in Obi Local Government Area of the state.''The report we got from the scene indicated that Mairuwa's killers shot him at close range in the presence of his wife before escaping through a path.Detectives had been deployed to investigate the killing''.The remains of Mairuwa had been taken to Keana for burial according to Islamic rites.

GOVERNOR AREGBESOLA SAID ''BOKO HARAM'S PRINCIPLES ARE UN-ISLAMIC''.

                             Yesterday friday,Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun state said that Boko Haram principles and beliefs were not in line with Islamic tenets.He made these statement while he was inaugurating the central Mosque of the State House of Assembly in Osogbo.He said a true Muslim would not kill innocent people.He said Islam is a religion that required fear of God,respect of human lives,good character as well as working in line with God's directives.''What we are doing today is the way to fight for the cause of Allah,not the way the Boko Haram sect members are doing it.Islam is a religion of peace,love for mankind and respect for human lives''.

           Tiwa Salvage sang that she is with the ''Baddest crew'',in a good way because they brought the roof down and everybody in the stadium was screaming and singing on top of their voices as Don Jazzy and his crew gave the organizers a run for their money as they perform the world famous music ''Doro Bucci'' yesterday friday in Akwa Ibom International stadium launch.I don't know what doro bucci means,but i watched the performance live from a local T.V station and i was also dancing in my sitting room.In conclusion,this crew is ''The Baddest crew'' in a good way,though K.C tried to thrill the crowd with his famous ''Limpopo'' but because the Marvin crew performed before him,their was a big difference between their performance with his own.More photos below.
