EL-RUFAI TO REMAIN IN ICPC CUSTODY AS COURT DELAYS BAIL HEARING UNTIL JUNE. (PHOTO).

 El-Rufai To Remain In ICPC Custody As Court Delays Bail Hearing Until June Former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai will remain in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) until at least June 2026 after his bail hearing was postponed. Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court adjourned the hearing to the first week of June.  El-Rufai is currently facing an amended nine-count charge involving alleged fraud and abuse of office brought against him by the ICPC. The former governor had earlier appeared in court to seek bail, but the judge deferred ruling on the application.  Meanwhile, in a separate case, he was granted bail by Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of the Federal High Court in Kaduna, set at ₦200 million.  Despite this, the court directed that he remain in ICPC custody until all bail conditions are met. BOKO HARAM KILLED 33 PEOPLE IN CHAD.

                      According to sources,five suicide bombers killed 33 people in Chad today and wounded 51 more people in a coordinated attack suspected to be the work of the Nigerian Islamist militant group Boko Haram.Witnesses reported multiple blasts that appeared to target the market in Baga Sola,directly across Lake Chad from Nigeria,and a champ housing refugees who have fled from Boko Haram.Dimoya Souapebe,the sub prefect in the town,and a hospital source both confirmed the casualty figures.A security source present in the town said '' We heard three explosions.The market is on fire right now''.One more photo below.                                                                                         ...

ACUTE FUEL SCARCITY,HITS OSUN STATE.

                 According to sources,Osun state is experiencing what they described as acute fuel scarcity,meaning that it is so bad that most companies in the state short down.The scarcity began after petroleum marketers protested over the fact that they want a downward review of the pump price of fuel.After that protest,sources claimed that the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria {IPMAN} in Osun had since directed its members to stop lifting fuel.Virtually all filling stations along Gbongan Osogbo Road,including the NNPC Mega station had stop selling fuel since October 6,2015.

ALAMIEYESEIGHA THE EX GOVERNOR OF BAYELSA STATE,DIED TODAY IN PORT HARCOURT.

               We regret to announce the death of the ex-governor of Bayelsa state Diepreye Solomon Peter Alamieyeseigha,who died today saturday {at the age of 63},at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital,where he had been in coma for days.Close family friends of theirs said Mr Alamieyeseigha was diabetic and was treated in Dubai,but recently returned to Port Harcourt.Mr Alamieyeseighss was the governor Bayelsa state from 1999 to 2005 when he was impeached on corruption charges.He was succeeded by former President Goodluck Jonathan,who was his deputy.May his soul rest in peace AMEN.More photos below.
