 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria. Yahaya Bello Just Approves Payment Of N30,000 Minimum Wage For Kogi Workers  Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has approved the implementation of N30,000 as minimum wage for the workers in the state. The Secretary to the State Government, Folashade Arike Ayoade disclosed this on Tuesday after an extensive meeting with the organised labour in Lokoja. She blamed the delay in the implementation on the inability for the committee to meet regularly due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has been overcome.

Femi Gbajabiamila, has said that the vote of every member of the House must count during the upcoming voting on bills to further amend the 1999 Constitution. PRESS RELEASE PRESS RELEASE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE: IGP PAYS HISTORIC VISIT TO CHIEF JUSTICE OF NIGERIA - solidifies synergy for more effective Criminal Justice System.   The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc, and members of the Force Management Team, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, CFR, in his office at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Abuja. The visit was aimed at solidifying the synergy between the Police and the Judiciary as key players in the Criminal Justice System of the nation with a view to ensuring a smooth and efficient dispensation of justice. The IGP equally sought the collaboration of the CJN in accrediting the legal department of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State to enable its graduates proceed for further studies at the Nigerian Law School.
