 Abuja Court Jails Two Internet Fraudsters The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja Zonal Command, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 secured the conviction and sentence of two internet fraudsters to various jail terms. The convicts, Adeleye Olanrewaju and Ayo Olaosebiomo were convicted by Justice I. Mohammed of the Federal Capital Territory,  FCT,  High Court Gwagwalada on a one- count charge each. The lone- count charge against Olanrewaju  reads: ‘that you Adeleye Olanrewaju sometime in 2024 within the jurisdiction of this Honourable court committed the offence of cheating by personation when you pretended to be one Lolita Gonzale293 female American citizen when you created a fake Instagram account for love scam and benefitted the sum of $460 (Four Hundred and Sixty United States Dollars) from your victim John Alonzo and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 321 and punishable under Section 324 of the Penal Code Act, Laws of the Federation, 2004”.   They both

CHINA DENIES SELLING HUMAN CORNED BEEF,TO AFRICA.{READ}.

                    A top Chinese official has refuted claims that China has been selling human meat as corned beef in Africa.China's Foreign Ministry spokesman,Hong Lei,was reacting to report on social media after an unnamed Zambian woman living in China warned people against consuming corned beef from that country.The woman said that Chinese firms had been collecting dead bodies and packaging them in cans before sending them to Africa.Hong Lie said ''We express dissatisfaction towards irresponsible reports.The Chinese embassy in Zambia has introduced the true circumstances to the Zambian government and the public,and asked relevant media to investigate relevant reports thoroughly and eliminate the serious,negative effects brought by such reports''.The Zambian government has said it will launch investigations into the alleged reports.More photos below.

                 Thescued Chibok school girl,Amina Ali,was airlifted by Nigeria Air Force Super Puma aircraft from Damboa to Maiduguri alongside her baby and supposed husband,Mohammed Hayatu.Prio to that they were examined at Air Force medical facility and were found to be stable and normal blood pressure was observed.Thereafter,she was released to the Operation LAFIYA DOLE headquarters for further investigation and handling over.After preliminary investigation,the rescued girl and her baby has been handed over to Borno State Governor,His Excellency,Honourable Kashim Shetima,at Government house,Maiduguri this evening by the Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division,Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu in a brief ceremony.It is believed that she will be brought to Abuja tomorrow along with her parents to met with Mr President.Meanwhile,the supposed husband is undergoing further investigation at Joint Inteligence Centre.It should be noted that Mohammed Hayatu is well treated in line with O

A MAN COMMITTED SUICIDE IN HIS WORK PLACE TODAY,IN AGEGE LAGOS.

                                A 21 year old man identified as Tope Diya today thursday committed suicide at his work place in Lagos.The incident occurred at Olayiwola street,Oko Oba,Agege.A resident of 5,Ademolu street,Oko Oba,the deceased was found at about 7:00am.He reportedly used his cloth to hang himself to an aluminium frame.Confirming the incident,the state command's spokesperson,Dolapo Badmos,a Superintendent of Police {SP} said the deceased's brother,one Wasiu,who resides in Agbado,Ogun state,reported the case to the police.One more photo below.

              Chefs in Naples city at the Italian coastline,the birth place of Pizza have attempted to break the world record with their mouth watering 16 inch wide Margherita pizza stretching two kilometres long.100 chefs in 11 hours used 2000 KGs of flour,16000 KGs of tomatoes,2000 Kg of Mozarella cheese,200 litres of oil,30 kgs of basil and 1500 litres of water to make a sumptuous pizza that is long enough to beat the current  record holders {595}.More photos below.

RESCUED CHIBOK SCHOOL GIRL ''AMINA'',VISITED PRESIDENT BUHARI TODAY.

                            Rescued Chibok school girl identified as,Amina Ali-Nkeki,today thursday arrived at the Presidential Villa,Abuja for audience with President Muhammadu Buhari.The girl,her baby,her mother and her brother,were led to the villa by Borno governor,Alhaji Kashim Shettima,at about 2:46 p.m.The governor and the girl,with her child were quickly taken to the president's office by his Chief of Staff,Alhaji Abba Kyari,for a closed-door interaction with the president.The girl and her baby were dressed in hijab and were shielded from newsmen by security officials.The Nigerian Army on wednesday in a statement confirmed the rescue of Ali-Nkeki,one of the Chibok school girls in Borno,abducted in April 2014 by Boko Haram insurgents.The statement issued by acting spokesman of the army,Col. Sani Usman,said that the girl was among other persons rescued by troops at Baale community near Damboa in Borno.More photos below.
