 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. A GROUP LAUNCHED A PETITION TO PRESIDENT OBAMA,TO CHANGE THE FACE OF THE $20 BILL FROM A MAN TO A WOMAN'S FACE.

                                 An organization called ''Women on 20s'' has launched a campaign to petition President Barack Obama to sign an executive order to replace Andrew Jackson with one of the 15 women who change the course of the United States history.It is hoped the historic change would be made in time for the new bill to be issued in 2020,the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote.The act was ratified on August 18,1920,47 years after it was first introduced to Congress by California Senator Aaron A.Sargent.The organizers say the change would go along way in promoting the bed rock principal of our democracy,that all people are created equal.The group said ''We believe this simple,symbolic and long over due change could be an important stepping stone for other initiatives promoting gender equality''.One more picture below.       ...
