 Obosi Development Union Backs Dialect Quiz to Preserve Local Language ‎ ‎  ‎By Chiedu Uche Okoye ‎ ‎The President General of the Obosi Development Union (ODU), Barrister  Chimezie Obi, has expressed his support for the upcoming Obosi dialect quiz competition, aimed at preserving the Obosi dialect of the Igbo language from extinction.  ‎ ‎The event, initiated by Pharm. Obi Egbuonye's "Revive Obosi Dialect Project", is scheduled to take place at the Obosi town hall on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. ‎ ‎According to Barr. Obi, the competition will promote the Obosi dialect and contribute to the preservation of the Igbo language.                                                            This news was made known to the public after Adebisi Orekoya,mother of the three children,took to her facebook to thank Nigerians for their support and prayers.In her words she wrote ''We give God all the Glory,our Orekoya missing kids have been found.Thank you so much everyone for your prayers and moral and financial support all along.The list is endless,of awesome mothers,sisters,business partners,fathers and even kids too.You've been amazing !,may God grant all your heart desires too much love always''.Her three children was abducted by their househelp May Akinloye,24 hours after she was employed by the family via OLX,with an agreement of N10,000-N15,000 monthly salary.She kidnapped the children and demanded N13 million from their parents.One more photo below.     ...

A MAN ISIAKA AKANBI,KILLED HIS LOVER IN A HOTEL ROOM AT OLODI APAPA LAGOS.

                The police at Criminal Investigation Department,SCID ,Panti Yaba have arrested a 55 year old man Isiaka Akanbi,following the death of a 65 year old woman Risikat Raheem in a hotel room at Aribo street Olodi Apapa in Lagos state around 7pm for sex .According to sources,they really could not ascertain the actual cause of the agreement which allegedly led to Akanbi beating Risikat to death.He attempted to escape but was held back by the management of the hotels which discovered what happened.Akanbi was handed over to the police who later retrieved the corpse and deposited it in the mortuary for autopsy.He was charged with murder before Ebutte Metta magistrate Mr A.O Komolafe ordered him to be remanded in prison custody at Ikoyi.The court also ordered the posecutor to duplicate the file and send it to DPP for advice.

A KIDNAPPER NURUDEEN,WAS CAUGHT RED HANDED WITH 4 CHILDREN IN OGUN STATE.

                                                                                      According to sources,a suspected kidnapper,47 year old Nurudeen Badmus was caught on monday at Abudu community,Iyana IIOgbo Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun state by a resident of that community,who demanded to know where the suspect Nurudeen was taking the children so early in the morning when he couldn't offer a satisfactory explanation,the passerby raised an alarm which attracted other members of the community.Nurudeen was beaten seriously by the residents and he was later taken to the Chief {Baale} house where he was interrogated.Nurudeen told the Baale that he was taking the children to Ajah in Lagos state,where he claimed they came from.Nurudeen said ''They came to me for fina...
