 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS JIM OVIA AS CHAIRMAN OF THE NIGERIAN EDUCATION LOAN FUND.  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Jim Ovia, CFR, renowned banker and businessman, as the Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). BALOGUN MARKET,SHUT DOWN FOR A DEAD CHIEF.

                                                               A deposed white cap chief in the area of Lagos island,died early saturday morning.All the shops in the market were ordered to close in honour of the deceased and the entire market was shut down.It was learnt that the deceased named Balogun Okolo has been sick for sometime now before he finally gave up the ghost early saturday morning.He died of Diabetes,an ailment that rendered him immobile for few weeks.It was further learnt that the late Balogun Okolo used to be a white cap chief at Iga Idunganran palace.A bitter disagreement with the Eleko of Eko,Oba Rilwan Akiolu,led to his being disposed.His deposition also led to his name being removed from the traditional chiefs list of the local government.His salary and other emolument were also canceled.

          26 years old Kesha has entered rehab to receive treatment for an eating disorder.She is now in a Chicago treatment facility since on friday morning.She said '' I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself,but i've found it hard to practice.I'll be unavailable for the next 30days,seeking treatment for my eating dis order to learn to love myself again,exactly as i am''.She is staying in the same centre where Demi Lovato has also received treatment for her past issue.The vegetarian star gave no indication to her three million twitter followers of her current problems over the past few days,she only posted a positive Twitter which says '' cheers to this year being the best year ever.2014 gon be the year of truth and freedom''.

FORMER MEMBER OF 50 CENT 'S G-UNIT RAP CREW SHOT DEAD.

         42 years old Jamal Green AKA Mazaradi Fox was short down by masked gun men in an ambush in Queens on friday,left 3 people wonded and he just got out of prison,2 weeks ago.The men opened fire on an SUV he was in at the corner of farmers Boulevard and 133rd Avenue just after 4pm.Investigators said after he was shot,he climbed out of the vehicle and collapsed on the snow covered sidewalk,where he died.The mid-day attack has left three other passengers riding in the SUV injured,including a 22 year old man who was struck in the neck and shoulder.Another 22year old victim,suffered a gunshot wounded to the arm,while a woman in her 20s was grazed by a bullet.The two wounded men and women were rushed to Jamaica medical centre for treatment and are expected to survive.The police are still searching for the shooter,who was last seen fleeing the crime scene in a dark Hyundai Sedan.Mazaradi Fox was signed to 50cent's G-unit record label in 2007 but never released a full album and left

            Chief Mrs Comfort Olisawunche Chike Uwajeh,was born in Sapele,Delta state then known as the midwestern region of Nigeria on January 9th 1934 to Obi Gabriel Onyemalechi Amatokwu and Obi {mrs} Elizabeth Onyekambuashie Amatokwu {kwentua}.Her father was the foreman with UAC {saw mill division{ in the 40s.She prompltly assumed a motherly role especialy as the first daughter and a second child amongst her late father's 27 children.She attended st Patrick's and St Theresa's Girls school,Sapele in the early 40s.Even while in elementary school,Mrs Uwajeh was already engaging in pretty trading,selling biscuits and matches to her peers and the proceeds she shared amongst her mother and step mothers.On her fathers retirement from UAC,the family relocated back to their home town,Ibusa,where she completed her secondary education at St Thomas secondary school in Ibusa.It was in Ibusa where she met and married her husband in 1949.They both relocated to Lagos and stayed married
