 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

BOKO HARAM LEADER SHEKAU,IS CHARGED WITH CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY BY SPAIN,YESTERDAY.

              Yesterday thursday May 28,Spain's stste prosecutor charged the leader of Nigerian Islamic group Boko Haram,Abubakar Shekau,with terrorism and crimes against humanity over a 2013 attack on a Nigerian town in which a Spanish nun was assaulted.Spain has pioneered the use of universal jurisdiction,the concern that crimes against humanity can be prosecuted across borders,in instances such as when a Spanish Judge issued an arrest warrant for Chile's Augusto Pinochet in London in 1998.The Boko Haram case arises from a militant attack on the eastern Nigerian town of Ganye on March 22,2013 in which atleeast 25 people were killed.Court papers issued yesterday thursday said militants assaulted the nun,Maria Jesus Mayor,in Ganye before she was able to escape into hiding and was later rescued by Nigerian security services.For Spain to carry out universal jurisdiction,there must be a Spanish connection,such as a Spaind victim of perpetrator.In the Boko Haram case,the state pros

                  According to sources who saw him at shoprite in Surulere area of Lagos state,begging passersby money.Ernest Asuzu who suffered from stroke sometimes ago wore a Manchester United Jersey,blue jean trouser and a bathroom slippers begging for money.According to a report from the Daily Independent,Ernest Asuzu was saying that ''I was in LASUTH for two months,three days and for that long,nobody from Nollywood ,not even Ibinabo Fieresima,visited me.And she heard that i was admitted there.My friends told her that i was down with stroke and she pretended as if she didn't hear.It's not fair.I'm a human being too.I am limping right now,because i have stroke.I am limping because the industry is already messedup.I don't know what Ibinabo is doing.Ibinabo is just gallivanting .She is having fun and that is not the reason we put her there.She should go out there and fight for our people''.

THE NIGERIAN ARMY,DISMISSED 290 SOLDIERS YESTERDAY-FALANA.

5 CHINESE MEN TO BE DEPORTED FROM NIGERIA,FOR ILLEGAL BUSINESS.

                   The 5 Chinese men that are to be deported are behind the illegal importation of textiles to Kano few weeks ago.The announcement of their deportation was announced after a joint inspection visit to Kano by the Controller General of Customs,Dikko Inde Abdullahi and Controller General of Immigration,David Parradang.In a joint statement signed by Wale Adeniyi Customs Public Relations Officer and Chukwuemeka Obua Immigration public relations officer of NIS.The two organisations noted that five Chienes nationals were uncovered by Customs anti smuggling operatives.Controller General of Immigration immdediate steps will therefore be taken to effect their deportation.Inv estigation are still in progress to ascertain the Immigration status of the other two Chinese nationals.The controller General further stated that the service will intensify routing mop-up operations to ease out irregular immigrants.He added that those who are law abiding and contribute to the national econom

                    I am so sad to see a young girl so full of life just die like that.She is identified as Blandine,and she was electrocuted on May 25th to death after the power bank she was using to charge her phone got stuck on her skin and electrocuted her.According to sources,she was chatting with a friend when she fell asleep and placed the power bank around her breast region.She had connected the power bank to an electricity source so it can charge when power is restored.As power was restored to her area,their was a power surge,the power bank got heated and got stuck on her skin electrocuting her to death.Her parents were the one's that found her dead.Please we should be careful with all these devices that look harmless,they can cause more damage than we thought.May her soul rest in peace,AMEN.One more photo below.
