 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.   Former Chairman NBA Owerri branch N.H Nwankwo has been murdered in cold blood by unknown men.According to the information from the Secretary of the branch, Chinedu Agu, the late Nwankwo was killed in his office yesterday.At the time of the report, his [the deceased] personal driver, who had taken him to the office is still at large, together with the vehicle and some personal belongings of the deceased.   A Port Harcourt based pastor has reportedly cancelled the wedding ceremony of a couple because they came few minutes late to church. According to members, the bride has been a member of the church for 12 years. He also said that after the pastor failed to wed the couple for coming 5 minutes late, they had to hire a small hotel hall, get another pastor and had their wedding.They were later married by another pastor in another venue.One more photo below.

CARETAKER ALLEGEDLY KILLED A POLYTECHNIC STUDENT OVER HOUSE RENT .{PHOTOS}.

  The caretaker of Ezinwanne Lodge in nekede has allegedly kill one of its tenant, Mr Anthony, an undergraduate student of the federal polytechnic Nekede for failing to quit the possession of his lodge. Poly TV gathered that the caretaker had told Anthony to renew his house rent but he pleaded for more time to settle his bills which led to misunderstanding between the duo as the caretaker was alleged to have hit anthony on the head with a wooden stick. Anthony collapsed on the spot and was rushed to FMC Owerri hospital where he was receiving treatment until he was pronounced dead this morning. The polytechnic students have Call for justice for the deceased student. The caretaker is currently in police custody Anthony until his death was an NDI student in the department of building technology, federal polytechnic Nekede Owerri, IMO state. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Gbolahan Oki as General Manager of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LABSCA) and Adenike Dasola Oyetunde as the Senior Special Assistant to Mr. Governor on Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWD).   … Deploys the Use of Health Facility Monitoring Tool to Enhance Effective Inspection The Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency, HEFAMAA, has disclosed that a total of 103 health facilities across the State were sealed in the year 2020 for non-compliance with regulatory standards. The Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr. Abiola Idowu, who disclosed this on Friday during a virtual meeting with the staff of the Agency, however, stated that some of the facilities had been reopened having corrected the infractions and pledged to abide by the set standards. “The facilities were shut down for infractions ranging from quackery, operating beyond schedule, lack of qualified medical personnel to non-registration of facilities and lack of basic equipment. Although, many of the facilities were reopened because they have corrected the infractions but a few others will remain sealed until they do the right thing”, she stated.
