 King Charles III to resume public duties next week after cancer treatment The British monarch, King Charles III, will resume his public duties next week following a three-month break to focus on his treatment and recuperation. A few months ago, the British monarch was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer and has been receiving treatment. However, Buckingham Palace on Friday said the monarch would be visiting a cancer treatment centre on Tuesday, the first of several public appearances he will make in the coming weeks. According to the palace, one of his first major engagements will be to host a state visit by the emperor and empress of Japan in June. The palace didn’t provide an update on the king’s treatment but said his medical team is “very encouraged by the progress made so far and remains positive about the king’s continued recovery.” Charles continued his state duties, including reviewing government documents and meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, after his diagnos

                  Former President of Nigeria Ibrahim Babangida gave out his daughter Halima out in marriage on friday in Minna.The daughter of IBB,Halima is the last child of the family and she is marrying a Gombe businessman,Alhaji Auwal Abdullahi.Abdullahi gave 10 cows and N500,000 as dowry for his bride.The groom is the Sarkin Sudan of Gombe,in Gombe state.Gen. Garba Wushishi performed the symbolic ceremony of handling over Halimat at 2.45 pm in marriage to Abdullahi.Gov.
