 Junior Pope: Family of late Nollywood actor releases burial date Funeral arrangements for the burial of the late Nollywood actor John Paul Odonwodo have been released by his family. Junior Pope and four other actors drowned after their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra State on April 10 while returning from a movie shoot. Of the 12 individuals who boarded the ill-fated boat, only seven were rescued alive, while five died, including Junior Pope. The details of funeral arrangements for the late actor, signed by Divine Odonwodo on behalf of the family, indicated that besides the April 23 requiem mass at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State, another requiem mass is scheduled to be held at Christ the King Catholic Parish, G.R.A., Enugu, on May 13. On May 14, an evening of tributes and candlelight will follow at Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu at 5 pm. SIERRA LEONE CAN NOW HOST INTERNATIONAL MATCHES,NOW THE COUNTRY IS FREE OF EBOLA.

                       The Confederation of African of African Football had banned Sierra Leone from hosting matches upon the recommendations of the World Health Organisation.But the ban,which took effect in August 2014,has now been lifted following the end of the Ebola epidemic in Sierra Leone.Caf told the Sierra Football Association by letter on 6 December.Guinea and Liberia were also banned from hosting matches because of the threat of Ebola in their countries.While Liberia has been given the go-ahead to resume international,Guinea have not yet been cleared Ebola free by the WHO and so the Caf suspension remains in place.

PDP DECLARED WADA AS THE WINNER OF THE 2015,GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION IN KOGI STATE YESTERDAY.

                       Governor Idris Wada was declared yesterday the winner of the 2015 governorship election.According to the party PDP {Peoples Democratic Party}.According to the party,its standard bearer at the polls on November 21 and December 5 scored 201,877 votes against All Progressives Congress {APC} Yahaya Bello's 6,885 votes at the supplementary election.The PDP said Wada had more votes than Bello and therefore,should be returned by INEC.The election which the Independent National Electoral Commission {INEC} declared inconclusive on November 21,was deemed to have been concluded at the weekend,with voting in 91 polling units across 18 local government areas.It was won by Bello of the APC.Bello was named the party's candidate following the November 22 death of its former candidate Prince Abubakar Audu,who looked good to unseat Wada after polling 240,876 votes on November 21.But the PDD's National Publicity Secretary,Olisa Metuh,described Bello's declaration as
