      The Lagos Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC) has advised Lagosians to obey the restriction directives of the Federal Government and the Lagos State Government in the efforts to curb the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic, stressing that the decisions were taken in the interest of the populace. Speaking on the assessment of Day Two of the lockdown, the Corps Marshal, LAGESC, CP Gbemisola Akinpelu (Rtd) said the operatives o f the Agency have been deployed to different locations for proper monitoring and compliance with the stay-at-home order. While explaining that the operatives have also been mandated to sensitise some of the youths taking advantage of lack of vehicle movements on the roads to play soccer, she maintained that there is need for everyone to abide by the social distancing advice in their own interest.        The   Ministry of Defence , contractors and   # NHSEngland   have been working to build the new Nightingale Hospital at London’s ExCel Centre, which will begin treating coronavirus patients this week.       The Lagos State Government, through the State Examinations Board, has announced the indefinite postponement of the Public Service Examination earlier scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 7th April to Tuesday, 14th April, 2020. According to a statement signed and issued by the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Supo Gbadegesin, the postponement was a sequel to the Head of Service Circulars: CIR/HOS/’20/Vol. 1/037  dated 20th March, 2020 on curtailing the spread of COVID-19 in Alausa Secretariat and other Government Establishments.
