 Outcries Over State Recognised Vigilantes In North-West   The security outfits established by various state governments, especially in the North-West, are being accused of indiscriminate arrests and killing of suspects, as well as innocent people without recourse to judicial processes, findings by Daily Trust Saturday revealed. But those charged with the responsibility of managing the outfits have debunked the claims of extrajudicial killings, though some admitted what they described as “overzealousness” by some of the operatives. It was alleged that in some states, long lists of suspected bandits, their supporters or sympathisers have been arrested and ultimately killed, and such acts are allegedly being carried out without recourse to the police and other law enforcement agencies.                        Today sunday,Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit,Omole Phase 1 Ikeja Lagos,celebrated their Feast of Penticost with music performance from Gospel musician Mrs Nkiruka Mbah,Drama by their youth group in the church called C.Y.O.N.After 9:am mass,the reception moved from the main church,to the church hall,where all the activities that have been practiced for over few weeks back was show cased.Each society in the church had their own stand in which food was given out to parishtioners who wished to stay behind for the after party.More photos below.

READ HOW 1 ARMED ROBBER OLUMIDE,WAS RECENTLY ARRESTED ON HIS WEDDING DAY IN OYO STATE.

                     Today sunday Vanguard published a story about one armed robber identified as 42 year old Olumide Asiyanbi.He was arrested in Oyo state by the Police Command when he was at the registry to sign the marriage certificate.The police alleged he was a member of a six man robbery of a six-man robbery gang who had terrorized residents of Challenge area of Ibadan,the state capital.The state Commissioner of Police,Muhammed Katsina,said the suspects included a 62 year old Ghanaian.Asiyanbi confessed that he had been involved in 10 different robbery attacks before he was arrested.He said ''I was arrested on my wedding day.I met the gang leader,James Agba,last year.He told me he knew how we could be getting regular money.He then initiated me into the gang.I have taken part in at least 10 operation since i joined them.We used gun but i don't know where James was buying them.Sulaimon and Alhaji,who are also in the gang,knew how the guns were bought for our operations.

GOVERNOR FAYOSE,LIFTED THE CURFEW IN EKITI STATE TODAY,AS HE ALSO CLAIMED THAT KIDNAPPING IS NEW TO THE STATE.?.

                 Governor Fayose stated this in his broadcast to his people today sunday in Ado Ekiti.He described the crisis between the Hausa community commercial drivers in Ado Ekiti that led to the imposition of the curfew as unfortunate.He urged residence to be law abiding and conduct their activities in manner that would not cause further break down of law and order.Fayose said that he lifted after security agents had restored peace in the state.He expressed regret for the inconveniences the curfew might have caused the residents of the town.He said his office had also placed N2 million ransom for anybody that could provide information which could facilitate the arrest of those that kidnapped 11 people in different parts of the state recently.He also claimed that kidnapping was strange to Ekiti state,but he would fight it.

                     Eyewitness said Zedi Feruzi,Chairman of the Burundian Union for Peace and Development {UPD Zigamibanga} was shot by unidentified people when he was walking home in Bujumbura's Ngagara district,adding that one of his guards was also shot dead and another seriously injured.The killers ran away after the shooting.The assassination came days after apposition protests against the third term bid of Burundian president Pierre Nkurunziza in the June 26 2015 Presidential election.Zedi Feruzi was among the organizers of protests against Nkurunziza's third term bid that staged protests since April 26.The Organizers of protests include the opposition and civil society.May his rest in peace,Amen.
