FORMER ESPN ANCHOR SAGE STEELE APOLOGIZED TO HER KIDS BEFORE SUING NETWORK. (PHOTO).

 Former ESPN anchor Sage Steele apologized to her kids before suing network Sage Steele, former ESPN anchor turned conservative commentator, recently revealed the candid conversation she had with her children before filing a lawsuit against the network.  Steele, who shares three adult children with ex-husband Jonathan Bailey, explained that she warned them about the backlash they might face, urging them not to defend her but to stand firm in the importance of “diversity of thought.”  Her son encouraged her, telling her it was “about time” she stood up for herself. Steele sued ESPN in 2022 after being suspended for controversial remarks about the COVID-19 vaccine and former President Barack Obama, claiming the company violated her free speech and breached her contract.  Although she initially issued a public apology, she later pursued legal action, explaining that her children had endured threats and criticism online because of her opinions.  The case was settled...

         The rate of arm robbery in Nigeria is very high,some blame it on unemployment and why some say is a form of collecting their own national cake,but can you rob Peter to pay Paul?.The new case of armed robbery involved 4 men,who around 2.am on Raymond Njoku street,off Awolowo road,Ikoyi Lagos recently stole cables.The suspects have been identified as,Okoya Emmanuel,32,Udoma Okoutu,37,Chi boy Eze,28 and Chike Onyewure,30.Their ring leader Chinedu,Aka Ik,fled on seeing the police.The items recovered from the police include,chisels,jack knives,cutlasses,saw blades,a mercedes benz car used for the operation and about 100 pieces of vandalised armoured cables.Residents in that area tip off the police.The 4 suspects were charged before an Igbosere magistrate's court,on a three count charge of felony,unlawful vandalisation of Nitel cables and stealing.All accused pleaded not guilty and a bail of N500,000 each with two sureties with proof of 6 months bank statemen...

MOHAMMED ABACHA,TO BE ON TRAIL FOR THEFT.

                        Former military head of state late General Sani Abacha's son,Mohamed Abacha,today was unanimously agreed by the supreme court that he will to be tried for theft.He will return to Abuja High court and face his trail on a 123 court criminal charge brought against him by the Federal Government of Nigeria where in he was alleged to be in possession of stolen properties belonging to the Federal Government.The theft was allegedly committed during his late fathers tenure as a military President of Nigeria.Mohammed Abacha argued that the immunity enjoyed by his father while in office extended to him and that having forfeited some of the family's properties confisticated by the government,he should be exempted from prosecution in line with the provisions of Decree 53 of 1999 constitution.The apex court held that immunity does not extend beyond the tenure of office and that even if the late head of state were aliv...
