 TCIPC Customs, NNS Beecroft Reaffirm Commitment to National Security, Trade Facilitation The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Tincan Island Port Command (TCIPC), and the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS), Beecroft, have renewed their commitment to securing Nigeria’s maritime borders and facilitating smooth trade operations.  This was highlighted during a visit on Thursday, 27 March 2025, by the newly appointed Commander of NNS Beecroft, Commodore Paul Nimmyel, to the Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Frank Onyeka at the TCIPC headquarters. While welcoming the Navy Commander, Comptroller Onyeka emphasised the importance of inter-agency collaboration in ensuring national security does not take a backseat to trade facilitation.                 According to Issa Bakary,Spokesman for the Cameroon government,said today tuesday in Yaounde that ''The insurgents were killed after they attacked a military camp in Kolofata,in the north of Cameroon.The battle ended after the army bombed the attackers,forcing them to retreat to the Nigerian border.The army however lost  one soldier during the battle''.
