      Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has raised the alarm that the APC Federal Government has concluded plans to plant 800 guns in the state, with the objective of destabilising Rivers State. In a statement signed by Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, the governor was quoted as saying that the APC Federal Government resolved to impl ement the plot during her last security meeting. He stated that the intelligence came from credible sources that were privy to the ugly plot against Rivers State. The governor called on the international community to take note of the proposed illegal action of the APC Federal Government, which is aimed at creating crisis in the state.      I confirm that a multiple story building under construction at Woji Road, GRA 2 (opposite De Planet Lounge), Port Harcourt has collapsed. Cause of collapse is still speculative but RSG has since activated all emergency services to rescue those trapped in the debris. At at now, about 21 persons have been rescued alive while efforts are intensified to rescue the rest. Will keep you updated on developments.       Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has appealed to Nigerians in the Diaspora to own the fight against corruption. Magu who was speaking today, Friday, 23rd November, 2018, as a guest speaker at the Black History Month of the School of Business and Management Studies of the Queen Mary University of London, said for the fight against corruption to be effectively won in Africa, the job of fighting the scourge should not be left in the hands of the government or anti- corruption agencies alone.
